Dont agree with that we need a defensive midfielder look what happened when Downes got injured or missed games. We do have Shea but it’s a long season and we need better than we have now in squad for that position.

Unless we recruit for midfield we will not be around the top next season. We simply can’t just have Downes as our defensive player it’s a shit show when he is injured. Plus we will have Baz in goal again! I’m not sure we will be anyway as Luton are finding out.

A central midfield of Aribo and Big Les highlighted the issues with our shoddy recruitment. We struggled in the Championship without Downes and a young u21 can’t be expected to stop a good Brentford side. Aribo is not a central midfielder and never will be. Recruitment shows when Brentford paid £5m for their 3 yesterday and same as when promoted. SR have a lot to answer for

So you haven’t watched yet say nothing has changed…..it has we are far more competitive, organised and not gifting the opposition 10-15 yards of space.
