  1. He's got no end product just runs around in circles beating the same man before hitting the ball into the stand. His first touch and close control is brilliant but he doesn't know what to do with it. Routledge has tried and failed at Spurs, Pompey, Fulham and Villa. He's really over rated as well, good enough player but nothing to be worried about just like Taarabt.
  2. I'd probably keep him on, unless of course the last five games have been a fluke and we just revert to old ways.
  3. He's ****e anyway. If they play Routledge and Taarabt together on the flanks we should win the midfield quite easily.
  4. Nice one.
  5. Never bet against English teams in 2 leg knock out ties. It's been like 23 months since an English side lost one to a foreign side. Won a fair bit from those champions league trebles, will probably put some back on West ham beating West Brom on Monday. None of the Uefa games interest me tonight interest me but i'll probably do a small accy.
  6. Will be a quality game if we're still in with a chance, I've booked the Monday off work already.
  7. He's got talent but there's no way he'd be better off in the Premiership. His problem isn't that he gets bullied and hurt during games he just doesn't tackle, no matter what league you're in as a defensive midfielder you need to be able to win the ball.
  8. Let him go, would rather have Gillett in the side than him at the moment. Every good game from Surman is followed by 3 or 4 poor ones. I think he just needs a move to get his career going again.
  9. He doesn't get stuck in enough, he's one of the biggest pansys i've seen in a Saints shirt, even worse than Surman. It was painfull having to watch those two play central midfield together. So glad we've got Gillett in the middle now, he's not as good on the ball as Surman or Morgan but he never backs out of a tackle and is always available for the ball. I think we should probably give Morgan until this time next season to prove himself, sometimes it takes players a while to adapt. If we played him every week alongside Gillett with Holmes on the left and Thomson or Dyer on the right we'd get the best out of him but that won't happen while Surman, Lallana and McGoldrick are all here.
  10. Stupidly put a fiver on that before leaving to the saints game.
  11. Maybe if Inter didn't have so many problems if defense. If they are forced to play Cambiasso in defence then their midfield will get over run and they will have no chance. Even with a full strength side out United are just too strong for them.
  12. I’ve got £15 on Arsenal, Chelsea & Man Utd to all qualify and another £15 on Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. Was going to just put £30 on all four going through but changed my mind, this way is a lot safer. Very tempted to whack some money on Lisbon to beat Bayern but i'd rather watch the first 10-15 mins before placing any bets on that so i'll probably stay away. Rushden to beat Lewes and Salisbury to beat Weymouth looks like a good double, put a fiver on that this morning.
  13. I'd go with that. Bringing in Molyneux would be a disaster.
  14. I'm thinking about doing it this year, done a couple of 10k runs now and want to do this next with a bit more training it should be fine. Hopefully i'll manage to convince someone to do it with me.
  15. If Lallana and McGoldrick both miss out then i'd move Wotton to holding midfield, Schneiderlin into the hole and Gillett inside right.
  16. I'd leave it as it is, if McGoldrick is injured then bring in Lallana. Certainly wouldn't **** about with the team too accomodate Skacel in the hole.
  17. If they give us 4,500 then it'll be a piece of **** to get tickets.
  18. I already told you that you could borrow my season ticket and join in.
  19. There's not a chance we'd get 28k+ regulary in this league. It's sad but a massive chunk of our fanbase couldn't give a toss about the championship. If we where in Birminghams position we would be getting about 23k~ atm.
  20. There wasn't any atmosphere in the second half, was the worst i've seen at a game in ages.
  21. Smith kept running into people and was playing on the right which I really don't understand, his right foot is terrible and we ended up with Schneiderlin playing from the left. Paterson wasn't strong enough and was probably too much pressure bringing him on at that point, should have left McGoldrick on for a while longer unless he was injured. Didn't really notice Liptak do anything much for the few minutes he was on the pitch, but I guess the idea to bring on a CB and push Siz upfront could have worked.
  22. Did anyone else see Lowe walking around the away turnstile at about 2.50? he was looking as smug as ever.
  23. Think the striker you're on about was Jerome? he had a really good game.
  24. I wish I had done now, I was with three other lads and I think it was just me getting annoyed by these two lads. They where being really racist which usually wouldn't bother me but it was litterally for the whole 90 minutes being racist. I didn't realise we had fans like that.
  25. Seemed to me like it was just endless crosses from deep straight into Taylors arms, we didn't create anything it was far too obvious.
