Yes. Otherwise you could have the 1995 Spannish GP, in which Damon Hill and Nigel competed. Or the 2007 Aussie GP which featured Button and Hamilton.
-
Last race in which two British WDCs competed (Sir Jackie Stewart and Graham Hill)
-
Not what I was thinking, but you might be right on that.
-
Go on then...
-
I thought Makin claimed to play on either side of defence, but prefered LB because he was left footed. Whether you count that as 'out of possition' I don't know. If you don't like it, then stick Kenton in there. James, I'd have said was more of a utility man midfielder, who can fill in at CM or RM. Again, if you don't like it, put Thomson in there.

Here's one, relevant to next season. Which record is held by the 1973 Canadian GP?
-
Correct The "DC" clue was actually David Coulthard. He was replaced by Mansell for the final three races, who of course won the '92 WDC. Then Damon (unofficially) won the '94 championship and we've had at least one WDC on the grid ever since. Next season we will have 4 WDC on the grid for the first time since the '99 Japanese Grand Prix (Hill, Hakkinen, Schumi, Villeneurve) If Jaques comes back with USF1, it'll be 5 WDCs. No idea if that's ever happened before. IF Kimi comes back next season, that would be 6, if Schumi stays at Merc. If Massa or one of the Red Bulls wins the WDC, it'll be 7. Yeah, he would have won too, but let Damon through for the Championship points.

Nope it's slightly more impressive than that. It is sort of to do with DC though.

Here's a brain teaser. What record is held by the 1994 Portuguese Grand Prix?
-
Yep. Played a cracker against England in the Euro 2000 playoffs at Webley too.
-
Ironically, you could actually put out a half decent side from the players in that photo. Davis Thomas - Killer - Davis - Perry Dyer - Morgan - Surman - Skacel Rasiak - DMG
-
Wotton struggles to make a League 1 starting 11. Most of the others were crap at a much higher level. In the Prem he'd look like a fish up a tree.
-
Apparently that's just the co(kpit fitting, although quite what they need the wheels for I don't know.

Looks like Sauber are building the car around him:

I'd disagree with a few of them. Smith was a decent 'keeper and saved our arses against Spuds and Arse in the Prem. Burley didn't rate him and brought Bart in, but that doesn't make Smith crap IMO. Hajto was dodgy, but out of possition all the time at RB. He showed he could be a half decent CB when he came back to SMS with Derby. Bennett had a howler of a debut, but really was thrown in at the deep end. After that he was pretty decent. 100 times better than Powell. Fuller didn't have the greatest spell of his career here, but was our top scorer in his only season. Wasn't that bad. Woof!
-
Not using any players out of position (e.g. Hajto or Delap at RB): GK: Forecast RB: Makin CB: Powell CB: Davenport LB: O'Halloran RM: James CM: Wright CM: Pulis LM: McCann ST: Euell ST: Pericard It was very hard to leave out Lancashire, Molyneux, Wotton, Pekhart, Robertson, Gasmi and Bernard. Also I wanted to put Powell in at CB twice, but I think that's against the rules.

Looks like the Yoof are getting better at running when the OB turn up. Congrats to them.

If by influencial you mean who has made the biggest impact on highest number of people, then by definition is has to be Obama surely. In Britain, Simon Cowell seems to have almost telekinetic control over the slack-jawed Neanderthals who infest most of the United Kingdom.
-
I'd still stick with Bart though for now.
-
Money.
-
Schumacher now confirmed at Merc. Could be interesting.
-
This is shaping up to be a brilliant championship. Lewis and Jenson at Macca, Alonso and Massa at Ferrari, Schumi at Merc and the Red Bulls will be there or there abouts.
-
I think a more interesting and upbeat thread would be, "who's going to be born in 2010"
