  1. Kobayashi has apparently signed for Sauber, according to Finnish press. http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_5774953,00.html Edit: Now been made official!
  2. When was the last time you got that excited about a goal? I went absolutely bananas.
  3. Who won the last World Cup?
  4. I went banana's when Waigo scored. I don't think a bigger noise has been made in St Mary's since the 4-3 against the same opposition.
  5. Arizona

    Wayne Thomas

A certain mr B Bialkowski saved 3 penalties. Biggest legend of the night. That ending was epic!! Waigo, Bart, Thomas: I want your babies!
  6. Sat in kingsland north. Let's just say a few of our players don't want another booking ahead of the Leeds match. Also a lot of hoofball. Harding looks good and Waigo has fits and starts. Norwich doing a lot of attacking down our right, where Lallana isn't giving much protection.
  7. Safest, cheapest, most on time, least lost bags in Europe. Anything beyond that is trivial.
  8. I don't think there is a case for them striking at all. BA have to make cuts in order to survive, there's no point in protesting about it. I think when it comes to pay deals, their cabin crew have some of the best rates in Europe. One of the things they are complaining about is a pay freeze. Who in their right mind working for a company loosing £300m a year would ask for a pay rise... Ryanair does not recognise any trade unions, which means there are no strikes. Despite this most of the staff are more than happy with their jobs.
  9. That's my strategy. Couldn't really give a hoot about who is where in the charts at any time of the year.
  10. I though he was a goalkeeper?
  11. Is this a poem?
  12. I might sing it when he scores, just for the sake of being ironic.
  13. Airlines and unions are just not a good combination, more trouble than they're worth. Don't see what they're complaining about to be honnest. BA are in the sh*t and job cuts are a nescessity to keep them from going bust.
  14. I'd heard the kk rumour, not nh though. Tbh I think Nick will end up at Sauber or merc. Just based on a hunch and history though. Hope KK gets a drive. Ponty F1 or Sauber would be great. Imagine he would bring some kind of sponsorship if Panasonic are looking for a new team. Btw, if NH and Schumi get onto the grid that's 7 German drivers.
  15. Whatever floats your boat.
  16. Regardless of what happens at the world cup, Beckham is a shoe in for at least a nomination.
  17. Heikki is no world beater, but he is a decent enough driver for a team like Lotus. I imagine the experience him and Jarno bring to the side could prove invaluable. USF1 on the other hand... Nothing but a bunch of far fetched, 6 month old rumours about Villeneurve, Patrick and Montoya.
  18. Funny you should mention that Bungle, because they did recognise Taylor's achievements this year. He got two lines in a short poem, along with bobsled team, the British womens luge champion and some bloke in a canoe.
  19. House, South Park and Family Guy.
  20. Was announced in the Malaysian press and they are about 8 hours ahead of us. Can't find the link now, but it's now in Reuters. http://uk.reuters.com/article/idUKSGE5BD05P20091214
  21. Trulli and Heikki join Lotus.
  22. 9 points isn't feck all, it's a large amount. Considering we started the season 10 points off the playoffs and we're all but halfway through the seaon, it really is an uphill struggle. The fact of the matter is we will need to score an automatic promotion amount of points to make the playoffs. If you can name any team in history which has won 1 of it's first 10 League games and finished in the top 2, I'd be more than a bit surprised. 9 points from safety isn't the end of the world. But in that scenario, three wins and you're right back in it. With promotion it's different. It's more like three wins and the team in 6th wins two and draws one. It only gets you two points nearer. You'd need to maintain that form (i.e. winning every game) for about four months to overhall the team in sixth.
  23. No, we have an outside chance of promotion. We are still 9 points off the playoffs and making progress against the teams in the top 6 will be much slower than overtaking the teams at the bottom. I'm not giving up, but I wouldn't throw away the chance of our first piece of Silverware for 34 years on one heck of a long shot. Not a question of importance, it's about likelyhood.
  24. No, we have a great chance of a trip to Wembley.
  25. Haven't you heard? We're keeping clean sheets now.
