  7. This is the best game of football i've seen in years, it's absolutely amazing! Really hope Blackpool win now, they've just not stopped trying all game. Having said that, they'll be straight back down next season, Cardiff have a much better squad. 41c on the pitch as well!
  8. Isn't Perry Groves (4/1 favourite) their goalkeeping coach? EDIT: No, no he isn't.
  9. Stick your money on a Paul Ince/Steve Claridge duo and double-relegation lads! :smt045
  10. As are The Mail. We can't possibly be sure of the consequences of this discovery, but TDM is jumping to conclusions already. I can't sit here and say that "everything will be fine" and not to worry, but in equal amounts I can't sit here and say "OH EM GEE, WERE ALL GONA DIE!!!!!1111111111111111111111". It's just the autopilot for the human race to jump to drastic conclusions without knowing the facts.
  11. Sold the ticket mods, you can close this now!

  14. Waving an Israel flag, that's just insult to injury. They don't seem to grasp the fact that Al-Qaeda aren't going to be popping in for morning prayer every day, it's going to be local Muslims, people like the protesters but with a different faith and set of beliefs. There was an application to build a Super Mosque turned down in the West Country recently I believe, which is rubbish because there's only one mosque in a 50-mile radius of where the Super Mosque was meant to be built. The EDL really do have such a blinkered ideology, they think that by disrupting the lives of normal Muslims it'll somehow stop the 'extremists' that they're protesting against. Utter morons.
  15. Really rubbish tout
  16. Great to read some of your stories, very interesting to see how people can get into sport. I forgot to mention how I really became a Saints fan too. My Dad was a student in Southampton, and he used to sneak into games at The Dell from time to time and was witness to some of our best seasons and players like Keegan and a younger MLT. I was born in Southampton and lived there for a couple of years before moving as Dad's job changed, but i've always felt a kind of affinity for the area, so when Dad told me about some of the games he went to see, naturally I wanted to go too. It was a few years before he took me to a game, but afterwards I was hooked. One of my first games was our first league win at SMS against Charlton back in the 2000/01 season, with Pahars nicking a late winner. It wasn't a great game, but I remember the atmosphere being brilliant, and the noise coming from the Northam was immense! I guess Saints are kind of like Pringles or Crystal Meth, once you pop, you just can't stop.
  17. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00sh6xp/Young_British_and_Angry/ Quite an interesting look into some of the internal processes of the English Defence League. Well worth a watch. It's disgusting to see some of the stuff that goes on at these marches. Fair enough, there's a hardcore contingent who are actually there for the cause (whether it's racially motivated or not), but the majority of EDL members just seem to be p!ssed up hooligans out for a fight, as you'll see with every single demonstration in the film. They may be campaigning for a cause, but that cause just seems to be forgotten every time they go out on a march and pick a fight. I think the time is right for the new government to stamp down on this kind of thing, although it will probably alienate a very large sector of the electoral roll, so I doubt any party will have the cojones to try.
  18. Nah, my friend managed to crash his car the other day, and it's in the garage for repair until the day after the gig (D'oh!) and I can't afford the train/tube tickets. And i'm selling at face value too!
