  1. He was a singer in many legendary metal bands back in the 70's and 80's, Rainbow and Black Sabbath to name two. Had a long and successful solo career as well. If you've seen the Tenacious D movie, he has a cameo in that, if you don't recognise any of the bands he's been in. There were hoax reports that he'd died in November last year, and also some false reports yesterday, but it seems that he has actually passed away this time. Absolute legend, RIP.
  2. Yep, my Reading supporting mates are always raving about him but apparently there were a few scouts from various Prem clubs at Reading's last home game, Bolton, Newcastle and Wigan included. Not sure he'd choose Tranmere and Bournemouth over Man Utd and Chelsea.
  3. Wow, I never knew... A true metal legend has passed, RIP Dio.
  4. Sh!t, when did this happen? Properly gutted RIP Dio
  5. I think Lloyd never really found a position he could call his own, and that was his downfall. He was average at RB, and average at CM. Good player, but not quite right for us or the level we're aiming at. He'll inevitably sign for another team in L1 and score a 50 yard freekick against us, as seems to be the case with other players we've let go!

    Lost

Stopped watching halfway through the third season, picked it up again in the fifth season but i've lost interest now after watching the first few episodes of this season. Might tune in to watch the last one though, although it's pretty obvious that it's going to be a disappointing ending, like they change time so the plane crash never happens and all walk past each other in the airport not knowing each other blah blah blah.

  12. Chris Iwelumo is horse sh!t, Surman wouldn't get into the first team ahead of Schneiderlin or Hammond imo. DeMerit would be a fantastic signing at CB, Watford are mental to let him go, but they can't really afford his wages. He was rumoured to be on slightly less than 10k at Watford last season, only slightly less than Mule was on when he was with us! Worth spending the £££ on Jay though imo. Not as sure about Hoskins, but he's still young I guess and the potential is there, a bit like Matt Paterson.

  14. 22 is no age whatsoever, RIP.
  15. All my neighbours were treated to a nice couple of rounds of that when the final whistle went!
  16. I hope we sign both of them, they really add some pace and flair to the team and both are real characters! Antonio obviously has some real potential which i'm sure AP can coax out of him, and Waigo is the perfect super sub (he just needs to work on not being offside so much). I wouldn't say it's worth paying over the odds for either of them either, there are obviously better options out there but Antonio and Waigo have got a real affinity with the fans now I think and i'm sure both would love to stay here.
  17. Millwall will win anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about that.
  18. He has had injury problems, but if he can get over those he can be a big player for us next season. He's an out and out winger, unlike Puncheon who plays more centrally. Came into the team for a few games last season and looked great, and if he can get back to full fitness in time for the new season there's no reason why he can't be a regular first teamer.
