    Cidre

    It's ok but very sweet.
  2. Watermelons are best, just don't make the starter hole too big.
  3. The Chemical Brothers on the main stage a few years were fantastic and the crowd were really up for it until some killjoy from the health and safety turned down the music, best lightshow as well, they were really going for it before that and the crowd were going mental, but i have to say Underworld on the main stage beat them for buzz and atmosphere, i reckon 90% of the crowd were on something and when 'King of Snake' and 'Born Slippy' were played it was one of my best Glastonbury moments.
  4. I have no doubt they are, i was pointing out someone somebody recommended to me though.
  5. They're all pretty much of a muchness.
  6. It's just a rumour i heard through one of the main stall holders, not sure if true but would only affect a few decent stalls and would get rid of the burger vans. Why would it be a nightmare? All the best food is served from tents anyway.
  7. Are there any creases in the bodywork? I'd use one of the dent removal vans that repair scratches etc.
  8. Before you go down the Sleep Apnea road be aware that you have to surrender your driving licence if you are diagnosed with it.
  9. My godson, Toby has adopted it (only a little bit of pressure was applied, honest!) in his under 8 or 9's league on the outskirts of Brisbane.
  10. Does anybody have a phone number for MSN as my Hotmail account is blocked and they seem to have blocked any contact from my IP address! So when they try to send my information they send it to my other Hotmail account which i can't access. I can't find a bloody phone number anywhere, can anyone help?
  11. Who else took pleasure from Bywater ****ing it up? Those who went to the play-off game at Pride Park will all be thinking 'Karma is great'
  12. Nice to see the Saints forum is encouraging random hook-ups between its users, should i buy a hat?
  13. Saw him at Glastonbury a few years ago with the full surround sound setup, have to say i was expecting more.
  14. Not really true, MLT was given a confidence boost by someone who believed in him, Puncheon hasn't proved anything to anybody apart from believing he's gods gift to football rather than getting his head down and working his ******** off. It happens to too many young players these days, they believe their own hype and think they don't have to work hard.
  15. That's what i thought, the 'enthusiast' is arguing the toss between weeping and misting!! Apparently he is under the impression that if it's not big enough to cause a drip it will pass an MOT???
  16. You really need to get out more. I did a favour for a mate who's company supplies TGI's, and did a small delivery to the Park Gate branch, i was warned beforehand but couldn't believe how disgusting the food preperation areas were, grease on the floor and the final nail in the coffin was all the drivers used to turn down any food they were offered!!! Might be better now but it's just a over-priced Frankie & Benny's IMHO.
  17. That's just idiotic. You don't see people lining up to punch Fergie, it's all about religion.
  18. Mental, just mental. How long before both clubs are playing behind closed doors?
  19. Purbani in Botley is very hit and miss and is nowhere near being the best that way. Friends in Bishop's Waltham is very good, then you have Vatika between Botley and Wickham (near Meon Valley (******s) Country Club) which is amazing but has a price to go with that. Then Veranda and Kuti's in Wickham which are both excellent and never fail to impress. Kuti's Fair Oak is also fantastic (the Kuti's restaurants have different menu's!). Keen to try the Bengal Forest as have been past it a few times and it's always busy.
  20. The sad thing is that most fans don't actually give a **** about the finance. I went on Twitter after the program and less than a quarter of the posts backed Sugar whilst most claimed he was talking ********. Then Martin Samuel was knocking the programme in his column claiming that Sugar wasn't bringing anything new to the table and he'd pinched other peoples ideas. The truth of it is that football from the administrators of the game to the clubs and even the media is such an old boys network nobody is willing to risk being ostracized by the game, look what happened to the BBC after the agents programme. Everyone is riding the fans gravy train and is too scared to tell a few home truths.
  21. Although not a trained mechanic, i know my way around a car, my mechanic is 100% honest (he doesn't know the extent of my knowledge). I do agree that some may try it on but that's only a small percentage; let's not get all Daily Mail paranoid about it!! Its hard for garages to get it right 100% of the time, there is currently an argument raging on a forum i'm a member of between a highly recommended specialist and an enthusiast. The specialist is used to dealing with people who look after their cars and want things replaced that show wear rather than waiting until the part fails, whilst the enthusiast is complaining that he advised the replacement of a 'weeping' shock absorber stating it had loads of life left in it; who's in the wrong? A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing! As for the 2 year MOT i honestly fail to see how it can improve things, i see plenty of cars drive around for months with broken bulbs simply because the owner never checks, at least with the current 1 year system it's caught occasionally.
  22. Does anyone know where i can trace information about my grandfather William Clinton Murphy who worked for one or both of these companies in Woolston? He was sent over from Belfast with his brother to help with the war effort in the 1940's and continued working in the 50's, 60's and possibly the 70's and from memory he was associated with woodcrafts of some sort or another. He lived at 3 Sholing Avenue, Sholing for about 40 years. Any information or pointers would be appreciated.
  23. For local i'd say Truffles in Fareham is hard to beat, excellent quality French-style food on the right side of expensive, a beach cafe at the top of a hill overlooking a bay near to Kefalos in Kos, family style with simple, delicious freshly made snacks and desserts. But my favourite in the world is The Jaaning Tree in Nambucca Heads (between Sydney and Brisbane!) just the best food and the best location IMHO.
  24. Owned indeed.
  25. Sean St.Ledger is over-rated, CMS would be a great addition, beyond that i'll leave it to Nigel.
