I have come to a conclusion that Al de Man is a ****le. His original post has possibly made me jump to my conclusion.

Baj? The prices are ridiculous now. I remember when the one in Southampton first opened 3 or 4 years ago and they were about £1.70 or £1.95 or something, now they are stupid prices.

I don't understand why so many people fail MOTs for minor faults, obviously the welding isn't minor but the other things??? Did you not check these before you took it for MOT? Its not rocket science to check the basics (water, lights and tyres) before you take it for MOT. Its not just you jill, I hear stories from friends all the time that they failed on simple things, it only takes 20 minutes to check the basics before you take it in!

Exactly what I thought. Just press the button on the front page, select '1 hour', enter your search term or choose a catgory, then order by price or refine the search with a maximum price. Its a useful website but only if your not familiar with the ebay website and search function. It helped me find and buy Smokin Aces on DV for 99p though.

It always annoys me at how few restaurants in the UK know how to properly cook a steak. If i'm in the US i order medium. If i'm in UK I order rare because its always overcooked and comes out medium. If I order medium in the UK in is normally well done!

I had two special delivery items delivered yesterday but was out so had two 'while you were out cards', i'mpleased they weren't left outside but one card says collect from depot in Winnall (20 mile round trip) and the other from King Sombourne Post office (a 42 mile roundtrip!). I wouldn't mind picking them up if they were in the same place but why the f#*~ is my post being delivered from 2 different sorting offices?

I've been thinking of trying to make some HomeBrew. Have you got any decent links to some online guides? What do I need and is it exepensive to get the equipment? A Hoegaarden Clone sounds good.

I think all of those games are in the 2 for £18 preowned section at Blockbuster. I wouldn't pay £10 each AND postage.
