I've only just realised about this wnak fest in the US. Cozy club of Arse, Man City, SPURS, Liverpool, Manure, maybe Chelsea?!?. Dunno, but this is what English football is to the world. I think we're going to have a big problem selling the club to potential players. So I think we need to develop a Dirty Dozen (or is it Wild Geese) mentality and build a team spirit with a group of youngsters, misfits and mercenaries. Actutally, I think this could work out well!

I remember my best game, as right back (I can see we have a Clyne/Chambers conundrum here). After a night on the ale, and involving some speed, I let go an horrific fart whilst defending a corner. I swear the attackers couldn't keep their balance!. Did a Puncheon just before half time and came back after the break full of chemically induced supa-energy. Won the game as a direct result of my great defending! So, I'll challenge JN9 for that spot. Mind you I realise, sadly, it was more than a quarter of a century ago.

Going by the opinion of my family: Son - he applies ruthless Fifa logic to everything and just assumes we'll replace and reinforce and get new heroes/staff Brother - I was bigging up Lallana but he wasn't impressed by his strength and pace when we went to Villa away, and he was somewhat of an accomplished footballer. Mind you, he was astonished that all the players were wearing brightly coloured boots! Uncle - He's a fascist and thinks that we're good without Africans. Dad - well, he died last year and was really chuffed about how well we finished. I'm sure, like many supporters of 50,60 and 70 years, he would have been phlegmatic about the changes and say he's seen it all before. (as many senior members have often said) Me - I waver between angst and crumbs of comfort. Wonder whether supporting in L1 was more fun. My god, I may even be attracted to the Dalek point of view!! I think this thread is a bit unfair for those of us adolescing in the 80s, though these women and the films they got their tits out in are timeless (think the 'best' Agutter film in this respect is American Werewolf in London btw, I'm sure there's many a worn bit of VHS on that film!). Somebody said a while back, getting the Spurs job is like winning the lottery. Not sure if he has a 5 year deal like AVB, but if he's sacked he'll get plenty of compo. I wouldn't mind if Spurs won, would be something different, just like when City won. My laid back frame of mind might be due to lunchtime drinking! Also, Spurs have a bigger squad to cope with injuries and cup runs Finally, and I've said this before, the supposed highlight of my son's visit to UK (from Oz) was the dross-fest of the Villa away game. He'd already binned Lallana, Lovren, Lambert et al on FIFA, and he felt vindicated. Whilst disappointed at the complete lack of penetration by the team, he remains a Saints fan, for which I applaud him!

Anyone got insight into the sizes for kids? Last season's Youth Medium was miles too small for my averagely sized 12 year old. Word seems to be these are tight fitting in the adult size.
