I would use the word stupid rather than risky. So obvious we needed a striker in the summer. We didn't get one in. We are now bottom of the league. Ah well, we can at least rectify this in the Jan window. I stupidly was expecting the ducks to be lined up and us pulling the trigger on a striker the first few days of the window. We could have had Ings for a couple of games already for example. Just don't get it. I'm not brains of Britain and I know I have simplified the situation, but sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution?

I remember me and others getting shouted down in the summer for daring to suggest we should be buying more experienced players. All I heard was "if they're old enough they're good enough" "What is experience anyway?", "We have loads of experience and they are shite" etc Well, if there's ever a case of needing experience it is Bazunu. He is not ready for 1st place in a prem team and neither are most of the other youngsters we bought
