As you ask, here's the dictionary definition of accountable: "required or expected to justify actions or decisions; responsible." Quite simple. RH is paid handsomely to pick the team that gives us the best chance of getting the most points possible (ahem how's that working out?), get results, improve performances, set players up for success, and ultimately he is responsible for this current shit show of a run of results. Salisu making a howler, KWP making a mistake is by the by unless you're saying not winning 14 out of the last 15 is down to individual howlers every time? That would be extremely unlucky indeed.

early days and all that but so far the scouse are missing mane more than perhaps they thought they would. Thats exactly the type of game he would have grabbed them a win. Lovely to see them dropping points against teams they would be expecting to beat at a canter
-
Yes seems bizarre when you have forest buying like 12 / 13 players. I guess they had a lot to replace and their wage bill is (was) low. It will bite for them once they discover some of their signings are shit and they can't move them on
-
He did a good job for Forest in the championship a couple of seasons I think. Never watched him play though
-
I hope you are right, but there's little evidence of that happening, unless you are basing it on the last 20 mins v Leeds?

talk about selecting facts to suit your own argument. Confirmation bias after "one away game to Spurs"...what about the 6 points from a possible 45? What about starting with a formation that completely dulled any attacking prowess we might possess at home against a likely relegation rival? A manager paid milliions to get it right and he plays a formation that any joe public could see was not going to work and only changes it when the game is almost lost? Yeah, confirmation bias...right...
-
So what? His point was that 3 CBs might work against City. What formation did we play in the 1-4 cup game smart arse?
-
What a great post and sums up my thoughts in a far more eloquent way than I could. You should post more often Francis!

and when they fail to move him or any of the other muppets on, they will be "relaxed" about the situation 🙂

Conte has learnt a damn sight quicker than Ralph hasn't he 🙂 On the subject of selection consistency - this is one of the biggest criticisms of Ralph - he barely ever keeps the same side and always tinkers
-
He is better than the cack we currently have!
-
Ties in with the vibes given off by Ralph at the fan's forum yesterday for sure.
-
Yep exactly this. It was almost like he knew the negativity was justified and he is out of ideas and doesn't have a credible answer to it..
-
Sorry but Ralph never had to face I agree. Ralph looked very defensive and if you look at his eyes, he has been taking some shit I would suggest. Didn't like the other two guys - just politician talk, not answering or allowing the hard questions.
-
Is it something to do with grass not growing on well beaten paths? 🙂 If not, do tell, I could do with a laugh and the mods round here are non existent compared to the old days
-
What else do we want? What a stupid question. off the top of my head - to win more than 1 game in 13 to have a manager who doesn't make ridiculous team selections to have a manager who makes sensible in-game tactical adjustments To have a team that doesn't concede so many goals and to not always be worried the team are going to ship an embarrassing shed load of goals to have a flexible manager who is able to set the team up for success according to the opponents we are playing to start enjoying being a saints fan again
-
Ralph will soon set him straight
-
ballball was some of the best football I ever saw saints play...at least when Alan was on th field playing it 🙂
-
I agree a lot of that is Pony. Regarding Ralph - I don't think for one minute he is deliberately throwing matches. I think he is so lost and clueless how to turn things round that it just appears that way. Personally, I think part of the problem stems from all the drubbings and sizeable losses he has had during his tenure. He's now scared to deploy full Ralphball any more and we end up with a halfway house of ralphball paired with Southgateball. Difference being, England have far better players to play 3 at the back etc
-
How people can defend the muppet with stats like that is beyond me
-
Just what mlg loves. I think the saying is don't wrestle a pig, you get dirty and the pig likes it
-
I think we would actually be better with no manager than with our current clown. I reckon the players would do a better job sorting out the tactics amongst themselves!
-
Still thinking Valery is looking very good? And Bednarek not as bad as last year? And expecting our clown manager to change his tactics?
-
yep agreed. Lyanco would be a liability
-
Wouldn't it also have FFP implications? Not to mention being lumbered with a massively high earner and not being able to bring in others because of it
