  1. It''s amusing because it's being brushed under the carpet as "recency bias"
  2. By recency bias, I'm guessing you mean Last 12 games: L9 D2 W1 For 10 Against 31 during which Ralph proved himself spectacularly inept 😂 As he is being backed by the new owners, I really hope you are right and I'm wrong in our assessments of the man. As you say, looking brighter on the player front - at least attempts are being made to address this.
  3. I guess a good question is how long Ralph has if we are having a dreadful start 10 games in or so. He seemed utterly clueless during the run in. But this is going over old ground. I'm really glad the new owners are at least attempting to address the player issues we currently have
  4. Recent form is the best indicator of future form. Hopefully things now change with the incomings, but to simply put it down to "recency bias" is naive at best. It wasn't the first time we had such a poor run of form and quite frankly is was utter utter clueless turd not just "bad"
  5. Crikey, after last season, average is fine for a starter (half joke half not) 🙂
  6. He will now do what he normally does when he is outed like this - disappear from the thread altogether
  7. crikey - have to admit i have never heard of him is he any good?
  8. CB Fry and Laurie - you have been outed as a "namist". How does that feel?
  9. Why is Ralph still around then 🙂
  10. Yes - he is obviously doing the pose of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio
  11. Do you think he has to have G.Jesus on his shirt to make sure he isn't confused with Jesus H.C?
  12. Forest just bought a defender https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62026740 They were supposedly after Issa Kabore as well, wonder if that ends any interest they had in him
  13. If a bunch of people who watch their team every week are in general consensus a player has played well for them then it's a good positive sign. Just as good as your "couple of mates" I'd say
  14. Nothing new there, just rehashing old news
  15. On the Rangers forum almost without exception they all think he is brilliant
  16. How depressing reading that. "Relaxed about the situation" - that's the one that really gets me angry
  17. I think i read on here he is some sort of teacher. I pity his kids if all he does is ask them questions. When I was a kid all i wanted was to be told the answer
  18. Issa Kabore would be a great signing I think. Named Afcon best young player earlier this year. Looks a real prospect
  19. Seriously wish they had taken van dick when we were selling him. If we get any of that quality in the future, would rather sell them to City than the scousers
  20. I remember that game! Case was brilliant, for me Bally was an absolute revelation when he came in the side. He transformed the way we played - all one touch, quick thinking football. Was special. Lawrie was a master at blending exciting young players with experienced players who had the mentality, skills and experience required to be successful in the top game. The young players we brought through flourished because of it.
  21. They have a team full of goals is what they have - Kane, Son, Richarlison, kulusevski. I'm nervous about that first game tbh
  22. They absolutely will
  23. Newcastle just doing what all the other rich clubs have done - city, liverpool, chelsea etc, buying the best players on the market at both junior and senior ends
  24. Apart from Ings with 12 goals in 20/21 and 22 goals in 19/20 you have to go all the way back to 15/16 for the last saints player to get >10 goals - two players that year in Pelle and Mane. Prior to that Pelle did it again, Jay-Rod and Rickie. I'd take a new version of any one of those!
