  1. Because he isn't shit
  2. Sure hope news on GKs and defenders incoming improves soon. For a team that conceded 4th highest amount of goals in the league last season and consistently ships goals over the past 3 or 4 seasons we do appear to be fiddling while Rome burns. We concede goals for fun as it stands but "I know...there's a really good young keeper...he is one for the future" Hoping we'll hear some better news soon.
  3. 🙂 it goes along with them being the best club in the world with the best fans in the world and the best manager in the world right? and fits their new club motto "we are liverpool this means more"
  4. Did you knock one out after you posted this gem?
  5. don't start all this shit again. Bore off.
  6. Nothing wrong with that, I enjoy coming on this forum to read random musings.
  7. Yes he is the perfect signing for Ralph's sideways and backwards passing masterclass
  8. I support Saints and anyone who is playing the scousers
  9. Tino was good up until his injury, although it was bizarre how Ralph had no regard for protecting him at his age which resulted in the injury Broja - very good first half of the season KWP - a hit Salisu - good but then form dropped Perraud - acceptable Small - can't make any judgement The rest either average at best or bottom 5 fodder
  10. I didn't see that - is that really the case? You would think if the scale of change is going to be that big, things need to happen soon!
  11. Just a thought on this - I wonder if the coaching staff, including the players and Ralph knew about this, first finding out around about the Villa game. Just conjecture but people talk etc and this may explain the abject form from then on - ie uncertainty amongst players and coaches.
  12. which is why he should have been sacked by now and the new manager already in place. However, i recognise its pointless arguing about it. If this is the reality, I hope it's the right decision, we can get some good players in and move on. There will be no more excuses for Ralph though after this.
  13. Don't see how you can say this really. Ralph is the boss with ultimate responsibility. His coaching staff aren't the ones who make him deploy the wooden and sometimes bizarre tactics he does. They aren't the ones who force him not to make substitutes when its plain even to the average fan that one is needed. He appears to be teflon. No other prem club would have kept him.
  14. I hope you're correct in what you say, I really do. If they do have plans in place, I'd expect these "new players coming in" to arrive sooner rather than later. As for "bedwetters" - you did witness the shambles of the last half of the season yes?
  15. Stop conceding so many goals is the first thing to address surely? You know the old addage...if you don't concede...
  16. Seriously? You want to blame it all on Broja? Nothing to do with poor tactics, spineless displays, and leaking goals for absolute fun then?
  17. Cornet looks good - and Burnley are in deep doo doos financially
  18. Nice idea but he wouldn't last 45 minutes in Ralphs headless chicken pressing game. On the striker front, what do people think of Dennis from Watford? - seemed pretty decent this season? Although I just googled it and looks like West Ham might be in for him
  19. A new manager would absolutely make a difference Surely the amount required to pay the muppet off isn't that significant when compared to the price of new players? Maybe I'm wrong, but it would be money well spent in any case
  20. Here's an example where you did exactly that. You spouted some bullshit and when you were proved wrong you disappeared
  21. He is never going to get silly money so what exactly are you thinking when you say "if he is backed" - if we are lucky we might get one or two better signings than in previous years, but there isn't going to be some sort of revolution if that's what you're thinking? As to "separating my overall disappointment from need to blame the manager" - I get that the squad is poor, however I see this narrative more and more on here recently: "it's not Ralph's fault it's the players" - truth is probably somewhere in the middle I guess. Ralph absolutely does need to be held to account - he's paid handsomely to figure this shit out and he is failing miserably with clueless tactics, inability to react when things are going south, inability to coach a defence, inability to motivate, going on long losing streaks, conceding goals for fun. The football is dismal, passionless, predictable. So yeah, I do blame Ralph for that.
  22. This is wishful thinking. He will go if the right money is put up for him. It's not really his decision if the club wants to cash in on one of the few saleable assets they have. Plus, if the right opportunity came, I'm sure he's ambitious enough to want to take it - eg chance to play with a team in Europe, chance to play in a team that gives him a higher chance to make the World Cup squad etc. The days of club loyalty are pretty much over (if they ever really existed in the first place)
  23. agreed. I wouldn't spend 1 penny on a team being managed by ralph. Get rid. This team is better than the shocking performances he consistently delivers
  24. Things are so bad I can't even be bothered to get worked up about it any more. No passion, no fight, no skill. I was spoilt having grown up in the Lawrie days when every team that came to the Dell had a fight on their hands. Things are so unenjoyable under Ralph and there doesn't seem any intention to change things. Hope I'm wrong because he won't be turning things round any time soon
