  1. The response of an idiot. Why not quote and respond to the entire post and point?
  2. Excellent post!
  3. Plan B - Bring on sub, sub scores, result improves, safety follows.
  4. Did you expect top half football this season? If not, then surely the fact we've equal-best GD in the bottom half shows our defence isn't as bad as you think. (as it stands as I type this, of course)
  5. JWP's found some pace!
  6. That's the sort of reaction you want to see! Good decision to bring JP on, good attack, good goal.
  7. Drawing away at Sunderland isn't a bad result, if it stays this way.
  8. Another OG on Jos' record.
  9. Not bad: http://livesport4u.com/stream3.html
  10. Firstrow only ever shows one link until KO, then all the others appear.
  11. Absolutely, you play to win, so choosing relegation is a sure fire way to *not* win games. For me football is about every Saturday afternoon and competing against the best teams possible. Also, having been through administration and far too many arsehole owners and Chairmen, anything that can ensure a secure future gets my vote.

    Are We Safe?

'Would' not 'would', learn to capitalise your sentences correctly.

    Are We Safe?

We beat Chelsea and we're very close to Wigan and fighting in the same relegation battle. Anything is possible, nobody can make definite statements about who will or 'will not lose'.

    Are We Safe?

As it stands, if we had 100 points, we'd be top of the league. What's your point?
  15. Seems to work for West Ham, who have pretty much secured their place in mid-table mediocrity for next season. Why aim for the stars, when the roof will do?

    Are We Safe?

Which would leave QPR in 18th on 37 points and relegated.
  17. Good post - it's good to know the things people don't want to ask, as well as the questions they do ask.
  18. Wasn't he actually quoted as saying he was excited by the fact we wanted to build a team around him and had ambitions of European football in the years to come?
  19. Everywhere in the footballing world except this forum sees Gaston as a top talent and a player well worth having in your team, so it's not really surprising that other clubs are interested in him.
  20. Being sat next to him for the first half of the final game of last season, being forced to listen to him chat **** about his nights out in town, rather than pay any attention to the game. Later that day he's celebrating with those who just won promotion. Good. ****ing. Riddance. I've more respect for Ali Dia, as at least he had some balls to mug us like that and made a few headlines.
  21. I love it when you jump the gun and post **** like this, it's funny You've got the Wigan score wrong. If it finishes as it is now, we're not in the bottom 3, even if you get everything else right.
  22. I'm sure that was Lallanas fault too.
  23. I'm surprised you can see this happening if you can't even see the screen in front of you, as you implied above. Give it a rest.
  24. It could well be other teams realising the game he plays and specifically focusing on defending against him. Anybody who has watched us will know how important he is to our attacking play and how much of our game plan relies on him. If you cut off Lambert you cut off through balls, goals and assists for others, so it's no wonder that JRod also has a dip in goalscoring at the same time. We did the same against Bale yesterday and he looked very quiet. Bale scored a typical Bale 'out of nothing' goal. Lambert almost scored an excellent freekick. But from open play the opposition removed their threat. What I want to see is a more open setup that doesn't rely on the strengths of any one player. As much as we all love Lambert, ever since he has been with us and performing so well, we've based our approach around him - even when he isn't there we try and find somebody to play like him.
  25. I wouldn't be too disappointed. I think we really need cover, but how are we going to do better than two young talents like Clyne and Shaw, who are almost certainly future England fullbacks. We're not going to get something even as good as them, as they will want to play every week. There is no point signing 'one for the future' as they are that. So Bridge might not be that daft, clearly still a good player, probably won't expect week-in, week-out starts and brings a lot of experience.
