  1. First touch goal, lovely.
  2. ‘Lyanco is getting himself into trouble’. Ffs.
  3. Our logo is annoying me, it ruins a nice shirt. Absolutely no need to have that whopping chunk of white on it.
  4. Hope they’re not watching this game, it would put them right off. He’s having a stinker.
  5. Yep, just checked and it’s 34 degrees. Would’ve been much better playing at Goztepe’s ground, it’s 26 there.
  6. Well that was a tough watch. Kind of reminds me of the start of last seasons pre-season.
  7. KWP seems to be doing the Zinchenko role.
  8. It’s a slightly worrying trend that’s continuing from last season. That and being suspect to errors at the back. This isn’t too far away from our strongest XI either.
  9. We’re getting rinsed down the right hand side.
  10. Good job that was offside Che Adams, dear me.
  11. Just noticed there’s a Draper Tools sponsor on the back of the shirt.
  12. Started off a bit vulnerable to the turnover.
  13. Love the look of the kit.
  14. My word, the lack of self reflection is off the scale 🤣
  15. I’ve never watched it and likely never will, I can only imagine it’ll be as bad as I think it is given the absolute shower of cunts that they employ to present on it.
  16. What are you on about , she’s a stunner. Just wondering if after the photo she got it out and gave it a full willy windmill as a celebration.
  17. The thing is, last pre-season is massively different to this pre-season. Last time round we had a known manager who had been with us for a few years and who had just overseen a shockingly shit run in to the previous season, 5 points from 12 games. It was obvious there were problems with the coaching team as some had been binned off and Ralph had been forced to hire Selles. And we started playing a completely different formation to Ralph’s 4-2-2-2, we went with 5 at the back and it genuinely looked dreadful. The whole pre-season looked off from the start, it was quite clear early on that we were up against it. This pre-season sees a new manager who has a massively bloated squad, many of whose will likely leave the club. He’s had two weeks here. And he’s played a bunch of teenagers who have barely seen the first team before today. I’m only talking for myself, but I’m going to be a bit more patient than I would have been at this stage last season, as it’s not a fair comparison.
  18. Exactly this. Same for ‘oover, and Kelvin. Very good in tge league below, not quite good enough for premier league.
  19. A left back with 11 assists in our promotion season isn’t that good going forward? Ok. Tough benchmark. Or shit memory. One of the two.
  20. Rumours I’m reading are it’s not a girl at all…….
  21. That’s quite a male dominated opinion. Which is the much, much easier side of the fence to sit on. Males aren’t really at threat from any of this. That said, male opinion is the whole potential problem here. It’s not for men, or transitioning/transitioned men, to dictate how women should feel in women-only safe spaces. There’s already been some examples of males falsely playing the trans card to quite horrible consequences in Scottish women’s prisons. It’s a system that’s open to abuse, and your simple male solution is “I don’t have a problem with it”. It’s not for men to decide what the problem is, it’s for biological women. For men, this is quite a simple remedy. For women there kind of absolutely isn’t and there’s an entire rabbit hole to go down whereby this type of things affects much more than toilets: towards the top end, women only rape and crisis centres, and trans women who are actually sexual predators occupying women’s safe spaces , plus many many others. The system as it is entirely ripe for abuse and evidence over the past year or two which shows us that biological males are already indeed exploiting it. It’s not for men to say what is and should be safe, it’s for women for tell us how they feel vulnerable. As a bloke I don’t see I should have much opinion on this subject other than to thoroughly listen to the fears of women and go from there. Saying “I don’t have a problem with it” or “there’s more things to worry about kind of misses the point. And it’s an extremely complicated area to cover that isn’t going to be done by offering one or two sentence answers.
  22. I’m with you, I like Lisa Nandy. She speaks well and seems pretty switched on, she’s passionate about what she does and she seems to have a relatively decent moral compass. As for Ange, I think she’s great, she’s not the most eloquent but I think she’s brighter than most give her credit for. Cracking chest rascals too.
  23. I think he’s worth a bit more than that…. 😉
