Test match is on, which progresses at the pace akin to developments on this thread. So work, cricket on in the background, glance at cricket/this thread, nothing happening, work, glance at cricket/thread, nothing happening, work, etc

Not sure what club you are talking about, but if it is Saints, then it is more bollicks from you. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation

So let me get this right. Everton were going to have £100m to spend + Stones + Lukaku = c£200m, and CL qualification a near certainty. Was that what we were told?
-
Funny... They're saying he's just what they need. Leader etc. Wonder what the £50m Stones was as they seem to think that they are now stronger.
-
Which is sort of my point. People are saying they are underwhelmed and want us to splash the cash and sign someone exciting. We don't do that sort of thing - maybe we will in the future, but not since Kevin Keegan have we really pulled off a coup.
-
Who was the last signing we made that got your whelm from being under to over? I mean a signing that got you thinking "**** me that's a good one". That's not to say that the signings we have made have been received badly, not least because I know how the club tends to work and I greatly look forward to how they do. This season it is Redmond that interests me the most. But back to the question, for me, maybe Osvaldo came closest to the "**** me" signing, and we know how that worked out.

Is this Saint Charlie's article?? http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/10529211/premier-league-betting-tips-ante-post-201-17-relegation-preview

What am I going to do with this positivity????

Mane seems to be 34.5 rising by 4 depending on team results which I expect to be CL qualification. So not far off 40.

I think I am 100% as well

Isn't Walsh doing that job?
-
I imagine that other clubs like dealing with us given that we don't have a chairman who tells his son everything that then immediately gets posted on twitter.

it's bad as it is, and even worse in cup games. Palace's FA Cup visit took the **** IMO.

I'd be happy with a £190 rebate on my ST.

So Everton selling their best player(s) is obviously different to us selling ours.
-
IF, the might be a big IF, he wants coaching afterwards, then moving to Everton would harm his chances with us. But maybe he could do a coaching job in Portugal, so where he finishes his career is irrelevant. If he wanted money, then I am sure China would take him.

City seem to have listed Stones in their Champ League squad!! Edit - link added - http://backpagefootball.com/pic-uefa-list-john-sotnes-manchester-citys-champions-league-squad/110651/

I read somewhere that MUFC will make £40m from signing Pogba. Didn't read the article about how they were exactly going to make this money, but if true, then it puts the transfer fee into a slightly different perspective. EDIT - Doing a google Unreliable: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/697397/Manchester-United-news-Paul-Pogba-contract-commercial-Zlatan-Irbahimovic-Ed-Woodward Paywall: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/pogbas-40m-payback-for-reds-pfmxhxpx9

Everton fans don't seem overly excited by Bolasie rumours: https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/bolaise.90516/

wasn't it 2 players by 9th August?

already mentioned on another thread, and really, someones marital problems really isn't anyone's business. Trash paper (copying from the Sun) trawling the gutter.

Bony for £13m might be interesting
