To me, while I am boring and traditional and like my wingers to be wingers, and not some diamond, the most important thing is for the manager to instil confidence in the player(s). With Redmond, I am not sure what more the manager can do in that respect with him. Now, those saying that Puel shouldn't try and make him be a striker when he is a winger, we all know that Thierry Henry started as a winger. We all know that Gareth Bale started at left back.

Ah ha. A mighty warrior based in the arm chair it is then. Much the best place to watch a game, form an opinion of the manager and be able to write him off. Unfortunately I am not as skilled as you in these fine arts, so will have to wait a while to see how things turn out. As I say, you may well turn out to be right. But as I say, this place is so full of miserable ****s who can't get behind the team (although they profess that they do) that it is not worth spending £5 any more.
