  1. It might as well rain until September - Bobby Vee, Carole King
  2. I'm with you on Credence. Fans of Stargate SG! will doubtless know the episode 'Unending' in which this song features. Unforgettable. 'Raining in my heart' - Buddy Holly
  3. You could just as easily take that to mean 'the week he first took training'
  4. We don't play with a midfield. PLaying five at the back doesn't allow for it.
  5. No points proper. The Lincoln game should have had your alarm bells ringing. He couldn't even get that setup right.
  6. To win, or to go through to the next round?
  7. It already has.
  8. Richest club in the world, I read. Surely nobody is jealous of them ?
  9. Well it was only Nottingham Forest.
  10. He scored on Saturday 😱
  11. Only 75 minutes too late.
  12. Plenty of other countries have south coasts.
  13. Surely, in the interests of diversity you should have thousands of diversity managers? The clue is in the name. If you only had one that wouldn’t be very diverse.
  14. And Loftus Road.
  15. A swap? 😬
  16. Home to Blackpool.
  17. And Lincoln. That setup was awful.
  18. Unless the player is behind the ball of course.
  19. I shall be away for this round so an away tie please with a replay back at St. Mary’s .
  20. Quite so. Especially in these days of delayed flags by the assistant.
  21. Well, yes and no. In my view that ball deflected off the defender. You’d have to be an avid Liverpool supporter to see his action as him ever being in control of the ball. …gaining an advantage by playing the ball or interfering with an opponent when it has: rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar, match official or an opponent ‘Deliberate play’ is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility of: passing the ball to a team-mate; or gaining possession of the ball; or clearing the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it). If the pass, attempt to gain possession or clearance by the player in control of the ball is inaccurate or unsuccessful, this does not negate the fact that the player ‘deliberately played’ the ball.
  22. Is he a available? Asking for a friend
  23. Wasn’t the ball played out wide off a Wolves’s player ?
  24. He deliberately tried to clear the ball but at no stage was he ‘in control’ of it, which is what is specified in the IFAB interpretation guidance. I strongly suspect that the interpretation as applied yesterday by Mike Dean was idiosyncratic and that other jurisdictions would have filed Salah offside, which is what any right thinking football supporter would expect.
