The club showed their disdain for the Cup by closing our biggest stand. They missed a trick by not selling tickets at a low price and tempting in a new generation of supporters. What’s the point of a home draw if you’re not going to take advantage of it?

Initially I was prepared to give him some time but today was woeful. The defensive back line was a jumbled mess. We had two left backs in Wellington and Manning who spent the game holding hands. Dibling and Sulemana do not come anywhere near to being an attacking front line. Welington looked promising though.

Is it going to miss your house then?

Somehow they never tasted the same after that.

If nothing else he’s a wonderful judge of character.

But today we didn’t have any attackers on the pitch.
-
Er… they certainly did.

Perhaps it was supposed to be competitive but we never competed.

It was very appreciative.

Or chipped it into the net.

It was worse than that. I'm in the Chapel so at least I'll see their goals this half.

Not true. These sorts of figures are opinionated and therefore not factual.

Me too. We’re showing our age now 😔

Fewer than one in six shots leads to a goal. Better to take a shot and fail than fail to take a shot.

I think they had all got so bored that they just wanted to go home.

Not more bloody invented statistics.

I thought that was Che Adams?

Not good enough for the Premier League but we won’t be in it next season.

My condolences to you. It’s always sad when you have to clear away the residue of someone’s life. I would love to be able to help but I am still in the process of sorting out my wife’s possessions plus the tools and stock from my business of 45 years. There are companies who will take the lot off you and also second hand furniture stores to consider. It’s not an easy task. My wife and I spent our lifetimes building and furnishing a house for a family of four which then became two and is now just the one. We, sorry, I still have some furniture and possessions from two of my wife’s relatives and my children aren’t interested. Before too long they will have to go through all my stuff and I don’t envy them. Being honest, there is not a lot of value in second hand furniture these days, sad though that may be, and when you consider storage and transport costs you might want to consider a quick and simple disposal. I wish you all the best. -
Yep. It’s madness. I went to the Stoke game and sat in the Chapel staring at an empty Kingsland where I could see my empty seat. It wasn’t my usual match experience. Apart from the fact that we won. Even then I couldn’t see the goals at the other end of the ground clearly. They were almost twice as far away as my normal view. Clueless eejits.

He used to wander around the pitch when he played for us.
