Chiesa simply ran into open space and as able to set up the winner unopposed. With a back five nobody knows their responsibilities.

That was resolved decades ago. Nowadays it's ok for an attacker to hang around the opponent's goal and simply wait for his colleague to get to the goal line and pass it across to him. I don't like it either.
