A few weeks ago we were installing a new roof onto our shed, and when removing the old felt, we noticed a spider. It was around an inch long, black shiny body and pointy legs. It had some white markings on its back. My Dad, who spent some time growing up in Australia thought it was a black widow. Now, we decided to kill it, we didn't want to risk it, and also destroyed a white egg sack next to it (around the same size as the spiders body). Now, I have heard that there are these 'False Widow's' around, but I will now refuse to go near my shed to look for others (luckily it is a second shed and I don't tend to need to go in there). What can I do? Is this something that I should make the council aware of? Anyone got any expertise on this area?

Lets get this out the way now, before we start arguing midway through the season. We are very unlikely to get promoted. We are unlikely to get Playoffs. With the strength of the division next year, mid table will be a success. Just hope you all understand this before people start bleating on that we should be beating everyone.
