Hahaha, loving the way that time changes stories in regards to Drogba etc. Next we'll be hearing we could have signed Vieri and Toldo for a combined £0.87p but Lowe turned them down cos he didn't like their shoes. Drogba chose to go to Marseille ahead of us (who knew?) and Adebayor had an attitude problem (which to be fair, he did). £12m for Saha and Malbranque, £10m for Rosicky. All well and good if we had the money for that, which we didn't. This has been argued time after time.

Not a patch on the school I went to. People only know of Noadswood in Dibden Purlieu cos of our rep as the hardest school in Hampshire. Or it certainly was in the mid to late 90s.

Really quite sensational stuff, considering how much the ground must hold them back with the lack of atmosphere etc (not blaming the fans here). Congrats all round.

I know quite a few who feel he is just an additional cog, and when we talk about our most important players his name never comes up. But I think with the amount of work he gets through and great finishing he really is a great asset to have.
