I've sent you a PM to explain why I support the side of Pardew. In response to the rest, maybe I'm not as good a fan as the rest of you, but that still doesn't help to explain a decision that, until I receive a reason for, has really soured my experience of supporting Saints.

I need to get my handicap down for next year, so golf it is...
-
Quite a strong reaction to what I thought was quite a reasoned, if not slightly controversial post. But it's alright love, I've reported it as you requested. Big kisses.
-
Frankly I am embarrassed to call myself a Saints fan, so I'm going to take a step back until I have a reason for this embarrassment.

I certainly do support NA, I really rate him, but that is not where my issue is. What I don't understand is why NDA's were signed. From what we've heard it was to protect Pardew. But why would Cortese do that when he must have realised his judgement would be questioned with his sacking.
-
I'm not suggesting anyone else does this, but I have severe misgivings about the Pardew sacking. I believe we would have a better record over the 4 games since than we have had, for sure. So, with this in mind, I will not be present at any games, will not purchase any merchandise and will cut down my use of anything Saints until I receive a satisfactory explanation as to Pardew sacking. And I don't mean the classic 'he had to go', I want a fully ratified reason. Until then there will only be 1 scapegoat for what could be a dire season and that will be Nicola. Mr Cortese it is your prerogative to ensure this doesn't happen. The onus is on you unless you want to be villified by a large section of our fanbase.

4 defeats in a row, no goals......!

Who's to say Pardew was backed for those players? No-one knows so pipe down. -

I assume I imagined the 4 we scored at BR.. -
Well shut my mouth on Cortese. Very, VERY positive news. Good lad.
-
FFS, Pardews sacking WAS planned, but with Liebherrs death it was made easier for Cortese to do it. All Cortese needed was to create an argument (in this case playing time for Guly at BR) and he could realise his plan.

What do we KNOW about manager situation?

I dunno, but I think you just broke it with this one... -
This is a ****ing joke.
-
That's because he's a ****wit.

I did fail Employment Law at Uni, probably shows. I'm good with Advanced Micro-Economics though.
-
Ok, well in that case I apologise. Just so ****ing angry that we just look like mugs all the time. I really do hate it.
-
And Wilde!
-
I thought it was different when on a rolling contract. But if I'm wrong then I apologise.
-
I thought this was different with rolling contracts though??? I will wind my neck in and apologise if this is wrong though...
-
I agree, but compensation would have to be paid by the player for the early termination of his contract.
-
He's not on fixed term, he is on a rolling contract.
-
No, not as far as I understand. For instance, MoN resigned at Villa. Now surely if he joined us it wouldn't go to Tribunal? So why would it with Adkins?
-
OMG no it can't!!! Resigning means NO COMPENSATION. NO TRIBUNAL. Nothing. All he does if he resigns is quit his job.
-
So you're saying that if Scunny wanted £4m in compo, Adkins wouldn't see this as Scunny blocking his exit and thus resigning? What are you on? I also think you're getting confused. Resigning the job means that Scunny get nothing compensation wise. What Scunny want is compensation so they can terminate Adkins contract. That's how it works, m-kay.
-
It's not even that. Adkins is more likely to resign if Scunny are being unreasonable as he wants the job.
-
Exactly, but as we know he was Liebherrs main man. Worried to **** that this megalomanic has NO-ONE to answer to, and we're the ones that will bear the brunt of his stupidity.
