  1. I just wanted to re-iterate the point.
  2. For us buying was a no-brainer, we pay £1150 on the mortgage, and it would cost us £1400 to rent. As we are just about to have kid, I had to re-look at our finances and the income we'd need to live a comfortable life when the baby comes. For us that's £3600 a month for the 9 months maternity the fiancee is taking off.
  3. I mentioned Musacchio on this thread about a week ago, saying he would be a good signing. I assume they got it from that.
  4. Lovely article. Always brings a tear to my eye.
  5. I was 168th at one point last year As soon as I dropped out of the top 1000 around Christmas time I lost interest.
  6. Me and my friend were saying exactly that. I'll end up listening to 5 Live as it's informative, but as 28 year old with an eclectic music taste I have nowhere to go now. Disappointing.
  7. Eh, what's wrong with that? That's quite funny. He did it to Zane Lowe the other day.
  8. Imo, I think John Terry is guilty of using racist language. However, I don't believe he is an actual racist.
  9. "Should we all be racists now father" Genius.
  10. Grimmers is awful. Apart from Tongy that is me done with Radio 1. I have been listening to Moyles on Radio 1 since the Melinda days when I was 13. I really have spent the last 15 years of my life listening to the guy. I have also met him a few times, and he is genuinely one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Yes he has a persona on the radio that grates some people (although his persona doesn't come through as much as the non-listening haters thinks it does), but he is an extremely good broadcaster, interviewer and bloke. It really is the end of an era.
  11. I agree, London is a great place to live and work. Those who say it isn't just either have to commute too far or aren't young enough (at heart) to enjoy it. It really is the capital of the world. You were an ex Walton on Thames'er weren't you?
  12. I got an infraction for suggesting Hypo had periods. I still maintain he does (and that he's a complete to$$piece).
  13. Mateo Musacchio would be a good player to go for. Young and good, at a relegated side.
  14. Yeah, a similar thing happened to me. When I was forced to get rid of my second yacht to pay for Eton for my 2nd child, the local poor family said they wished they could send their children to Eton. I told them that if they gave up being poor and got better jobs they might be able to, although their children wouldn't get in to Eton due to the fact that their ill-educated.
  15. Sejad Salihovic is quality as well...
  16. Utterly impossible. TDD said so the other day.
  17. http://www.football365.com/faves/7883881/F365-Focus Surely not...
  18. God I hope not, Championship quality when he was at his peak.
  19. "The Canadian star has been linked with Newcastle United, Sunderland and QPR, while there is also believed to be interest from abroad, including German side Borussia Monchengladbach." Not exactly worldbeaters are they, although I think if Newcastle wanted him he would be off there?
  20. I'm not saying he will, and as with the last argument you seem to miss the point that we have no influence over who we sign. However, he is the kind of player we should be looking at signing, especially if he signs a new contract at the club he declared he was going to leave in January, that will be in the Championship next season. That is the point.
  21. Surely all that are playing in the Championship should be as well?
