It's just that, as time has passed and he has shown himself beyond any reasonable doubt to be a terrible cunt, completely unfit for high office, even those who used to support him won't dare to come onto this thread anymore to sing his praises, probably because they realise how stupid it would make them look.

The thing that worries me most is the fact that every day he us still PM, he's free to dish out peerages to whoever he likes. He'll probably try and grant one to himself with his track record.

Well that speech was everything expected it to be. Waxing lyrical about how wonderful and brilliant his premiership has been and blaming his forced resignation on "the herd" in Westminster. At no point did it occur to him to even pretend to show any remorse or contrition for any of the catastrophic failures of leadership he has overseen. As an aside, I see that Starmer has stated he will push for a VONC if he doesn't leave office immediately.

Apparently even Nadim Zahawi, who was only appointed as chancellor yesterday, is one of them.

Sajid Javid's statement was pretty damning, I thought. Surely Johnson must know the game is up now. Surely? There is simply no way he can ride this out and hope to win another general election.
