Well it didn't last long. It's 3-1 to City now.
-
Completely unnecessary. Saw him flying in and there was only ever going to be one outcome.
-
Forest pushing really high. When we have possession at the back they have 5 or 6 players in our half. We need to find a way to exploit the space behind that leaves.

Soccerstreams100.io usually has a load.

Got one of those and know how to set up the app. I'm just looking for a provider. There's so many out there it's impossible to know who to go with without a solid recommendation.

I'm considering going down the IPTV route to watch this. Can anyone recommend a decent provider?

It wouldn't surprise me at all. It's well known that corporate lobbying by the sugar industry suppressed research into the harms of refined sugars in the 1960s, and successfully convinced the western world that fats were the real problem. This led to the rise of ultra-processed 'low fat' foods, which contain an insane amount of sugar to compensate for the lack of flavour caused by the removal of fats. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/09/13/493739074/50-years-ago-sugar-industry-quietly-paid-scientists-to-point-blame-at-fat It really wouldn't surprise me if the same people who carried out this act of global vandalism on public health in the name of profit also had major interests in pharmaceutical companies as well.

Everton down to the bare bones already... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/czjyv9jpky3o

Not quite true. You have £7m plus an £18m asset (that could turn a tidy profit in future). The only reason the full £25m in our pocket would be better is if we had a cash flow problem, which we apparently don't. SR are obviously playing the long game on this one.
-
All depends how the deal is structured. If we sell them Alcaraz for £25m then sign Hugo back from them at £18m on a 3 year contract, then that means we're only recording a £6m outlay on this year's books but receiving the full £25m for Charly, resulting in a £19m 'profit' for this year as far as FFP is concerned.

I thought schools didn't serve that shit anymore after Jamie Oliver's campaign against it? They certainly don't at my daughter's school anyway.
-
Obrigado Giuseppe. No meed to apologise - your English is better than many regular site users! 😅 Looks as though he is good at receiving the ball in tight spaces and making an accurate pass to a team mate, which is exactly what our manager wants from his players. I hope Alcaraz is a success for you. I always liked him and it's not his fault that we changed manager and drastically changed our system after he signed, meaning he didn't quite fit despite his obvious quality.

You must have a dodgy look about you.

Could say exactly the same about motorists really. Seems like every time I ride my bike I have a near miss with some twat who thinks that simply being in a car gives them the right of way.
-
I really wanted to believe there was more to come from him, but it wasn't to be. He has some talent, but without the necessary application that's not enough. Some of his 'performances' last year were just unforgiveable. Was it against Coventry when he came on as a sub and basically just jogged around near the halfway line doing literally nothing. Clearly not cut out for English football, but I hope he goes on to have a decent career in France.
-
When you're trying to get your bike off the train but the impatient knobheads crowding around the doors on the platform waiting to board won't move out of the way.
-
On what basis do you make that assertion? Because they finished above us in the Championship last season? How did that work out for Reading in 2012/13?
-
Everton for one. They were abysmal yesterday, and will probably lose more players before the window slams shut in a desperate attempt to comply with PSR. Other than that, it's too early to tell.
-
Anyway, the overall performance was, IMO, far better than the kind of disjointed shite we served up in our relegation season in 22/23. So I think there is good reason to be optimistic about the season.
-
OK I take your point. But on the flip side of that, Do we want a keeper that just kicks long without thinking every time the ball comes to him? Especially one with such poor long kicking as McCarthy? Of course not. There is a threshold in any situation where a long kick clear becomes preferable to a pass out, regardless of the manager's tactics, but I don't think this situation was over that threshold. Others may disagree, however.
-
If he was under intense, immediate pressure from an attacking player who forced the error, then you would have a point. But that really wasn't the case. Nobody was pressing him and he had some perfectly good options to pass the ball out. There was absolutely no need to hoof it in that scenario. It was a simple brain fart.
-
Where has this been reported? I can't find any links.
-
He looked OK in those cup games last season, but that obviously wasn't a big test for him.

Not sure how Mosquera managed to avoid a red card for his deliberate hand to the throat on Havertz. Looked pretty blatant to me.
