  1. It's the only option with a design like this really. If the badge wasn't central it would be crossing over the line between the red and the white and would look a lot worse IMO.
  2. He was in the City U18 side that played against Everton in the FA youth cup last year so my nephew will know him. I'll drop him a message to ask about him. He was absolutely right about Tino after all.
  3. I thought players couldn't sign pro contracts until they are 17?
  4. And a 20 yo keeper.
  5. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/20238342.saints-star-laura-rafferty-called-euro-2022/ Nice one Laura 👌
  6. My concern with this is that he seemingly wants guarantees of game time, and I would be very wary of making a 19yo a first choice CB, regardless of how good he might be.
  7. Paramount+ has now launched in the UK, so I signed up and watched the first 3 episodes of Strange New Worlds. Quite encouraged by what I've seen so far. The good thing is that we've already had the groundwork of the character introductions laid for Pike, Spock and No1 in S2 of Discovery. The return of the episodic format to the Star Trek franchise is most welcome, and I already feel like I am more familiar with the other bridge officers than I am with any of the 'supporting cast' of Discovery. As there are only 3 episodes of SNW currently available, I'm gonna give the Halo series a go. From what I'm told, if you're not a hardcore fan of the game series and can overlook the rewriting of the canon, it's actually very good. I only ever played the first two games anyway and that was a long time ago, so I expect it won't matter to me.
  8. Ewan McGregor is 51 now, and Alec Guiness was 63 when A New Hope was released. It's really not a huge discrepancy. Only 3 years.
  9. Daily Mail: "Waaaaaaa it's not fair. They're ganging up on the Tories!" Also the Daily Mail:
  10. Yeah racists and white supremacists aren't really well known for their attention to actual facts.
  11. He was sponsored by Red Bull as well 🤔
  12. Very well from what I'm watching. She obviously hasn't got quite the vocal range she used to, but still pretty impressive for her age. That's quite a crowd she has drawn.
  13. All of a sudden, the Handmaid's Tale doesn't seem quite so far fetched.
  14. Raab on R4 earlier claiming the by-election results were due to voters being "distracted". Yeah Dom. Sure. Can see it now in the polling booth... "OK so where do I place my cro.... OOOH LOOK! A SQUIRREL! Oh damn, I voted for the wrong candidate. Oh well, it's done now".
  15. Ignoring for a moment the blatant contradiction between your statement and your username. I refer back to my previous point about people lacking the intelligence to engage in proper critical thinking. If it was all just a test of control then please tell me how you explain the notion that every government in the world (even ones that have been at each other's throats for decades/centuries) managed to agree to it, with the cooperation of pretty much the entire global medical and scientific community, managed to enact their plan without a single whistle-blower coming out and releasing some of the memos/emails/phone recordings, of which there would need to be a mountain of in order for such a plan to succeed. For such a conspiracy to have taken place, millions of people around the world would need to be in on it, and not one person has so far managed to produce a single shred of evidence to support this. Not a single email, or letter, or covert recording. Nothing. It simply isn't possible, and it's beyond barmy to suggest otherwise. We've all seen how hopelessly inept our government is over the last few years. Johnson is a total clown whose ego far outstrips his intelligence or ability. For him and his party (and all the opposition parties too) to have successfully been involved in some massive global plan to deceive the entire population would suggest a degree of competence and organisation far beyond that which they have been able to demonstrate in any other area of government.
  16. While BJ hid in Rwanda, his candidate in Tiverton and Honiton couldn't find a fridge to hide in so she had to improvise.
  17. Wakefield was no surprise because everyone expected the Northern red wall to revert once Johnson had 'got Brexit done'. But losing a safe SW seat in a 30% swing to the LDs is catastrophic whichever way you look at it. I can't wait to see how they are going to spin this.
  18. Aha! Maybe @Dank meant to post his "SEVEN!!!" comment on this thread but posted it on the transfer window one by mistake.
  19. You know, considering how little interest you love to tell us you have in women's football, you don't half bang on about it a lot.
