  1. Thatcher won 3 elections and while she was unpopular by many, she had her supporters. As it happens, I liked and still like Gordon Brown. He was underrated in his efforts and success on averting total collapse of our financial system.
  2. Doesn't prove anything... he failed to win an election against what was probably the most unpopular prime minister since Anthony Eden...
  3. Assuming we are there!
  4. Is it or is it not true that Cameron failed to win a general election against what was probably the most unpopular prime minister since Anthony Eden?
  5. I thought he looked quite useful. Fast, nimble and not afraid to get stuck in. He also showed some nice touches. Considering he only came over from Japan last week, very promising. He seemed very flexible also. I'm interested to see how he develops.
  6. Cameron couldn't even win an election against the most unpopular Prime Minister of all time. Sums him up really.
  7. Cheers for the tip! Birmingham's form is certainly perilous!
  8. Beat Brum and keep it(for now) a three way battle...
  9. People always moan when stuff on their favourite web pages is changed, they always end up liking it just as much as the old in most cases.
  10. Good performance last night which is promising. I though Lee looked useful and it'll be interesting to see how he develops. I'm grateful for the goals Connolly has given us, but to be honest it was like 10 men vs. 11 men yesterday... he might have been good a few years back when he was fast and nimble perhaps, I don't know, but these days I think he needs to drop down a level at least... he can not win a header at all.
  11. A unique visit, I believe is the number of people visiting the site, as opposed to just visits which is just the number of page views.
  12. I don't think any of them have to come out, it's a personal decision. Though obviously, it would give hope to thousands up and down the country.
  13. That's what I read on here at the time, but I just can't believe the Sun didn't make a big fanfare about it?! What could Cortese have possibly said?!
  14. Damn right. News International have shown their true colours. And I don't think we are on particularly good terms with them after the south coast club saga... I'd like to know how that ended though because the Sun didn't make a big fanfare of it.
  15. Already covered in Sex Education
  16. I like your Do you want Scotland to remain part of the UK? question, but I dunno if I like 'you' being part of the question, too emotive... Should Scotland remain part of the United Kingdom? Maybe... or is that missing the point as it is all about independence and maybe too negative the other way? But I guess that or 'Should Scotland be an independent country? will do... but no 'you' and no 'agree' or 'disagree'.
  17. Well, I can't talk for away games as I am season ticket holder, so only see the home games... But he is okay... I mean he is able to hold on to the ball, but he does a lot of turning and skill and what not, but more often and not doesn't really go anywhere with it. He's a good impact player for about 60 minutes when everyone else is getting a bit tired because he is very fast.
  18. That's true... but I was referring to worldwide, not the U.K. We're different, we are very secular, though even if we are secular, there are many apathetic Christians... who do believe in some form of Christian based deity.
  19. Creationism is taught in R.S. Not as fact... but as, this is what some Christians believe in, but others believe it is just a metaphorical story, whereas others don't believe in it at all kind thing.
  20. What other thing is there that billions of people believe in that isn't taught?
  21. I see I see... and do you enjoy that? (and how about answering the rest of my point or was I just right? )
  22. Perhaps... but a lot of people believe in it, so I think it is important to know what people believe.
  23. I'm not sure... it's deffo not compulsory to do a GCSE in it, but most schools do as it is compulsory to learn it, but here is what is compulsory anyways... http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/14To19/Years10And11/DG_10013568
