  1. Good Question, I would ask something along the same lines if you had not beat me to it
  2. I have always thought that they would come out of this ok. I have enjoyed watching them suffer but I have always had that horrible feeling in the back of my mind that they will survive. We will have to stomach listening to how they over turned impossible odds and what great fans they have again. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Portsmouth-to-be-offered-32million-balloon-payment-rescue-deal-by-Premier-League-exclusive-article342121.html It seems the Premier league are bending over backwards to help them. If they don't give them the points deduction it would be a joke. I will be cheering on Birmingham this weekend in the hope they don't get through to the semi final but again I have that horrible feeling they will get through with the signings they could not really afford to sign scoring again I only hope I am wrong. At the least I hope they do down and get taken over by another dodgy chancer.
  3. 10 goals in two games it must be a while since any Saints team did that? Awesome result!! Long may this continue!!!
  4. Well it would be nice to have one more Saints goal at the least But yeah I would settle for a 3-0 win
  5. So it was "family problems" as in the club are one big family. So the Pardew situation explained thread was not correct about him having some issues in his personal family life? I hope whatever it was it doesn't have a negative effect on tomorrow or any other game from now on. Obviously what ever it was didn't effect the team on Saturday, I am hoping for more of the same from the players come tomorrow night.
  6. Perhaps you could submit that design for Pompey's new club badge to the administrator if he is still there for the start of next season.
  7. Is that usual to go in on a Sunday or tactical talk if the team have a midweek game then? It does sound worrying considering all the rumors flying about.
  8. So was there a meeting between the players and Alan Pardew at 10am? Someone on the 606 site said all the players cars were there this morning. Anyone heard anything more? I am hoping this is all just a load of rubbish. It would be nice to have it confirmed as nothing though. I guess we will have to wait and see.
  9. Great result. I hope for a repeat performance against Huddersfield. Pompey winning stopped it being a great weekend though.
  10. I was swearing my head off after 3 minutes but smiling by the half time whistle. I hope Saints can give us a big score line today to cheer us all up after the midweek glum.
  11. I think its more of a sore point that Quincy Owusu-Abeyie played in the cup. He was signed after they finally got their transfer embargo lifted when they clearly still had no money. It should not have been lifted and he should not have been signed. Many have said he was the player he changed the game with the first goal and his all round performance.

  13. well that sucked
  14. Sounds like Wycombe have been water logging their pitch to give themselves a chance to stop us playing football.
  15. Can Saints quality win out over Wycombe Wanderers obviously determination? Its a game we should win but very likely to slip up on.
  16. I can't see anything but a smelly Skate victory. The thought of which makes me feel sick! Obviously I want to be wrong. But I don't think I will be. I just hope its quick and as painless as possible. The trouble is if they beat the tax man this could be the game that turns their season about. It could give them the lift they need. I really didn't want to play them for this reason alone. I heard Avran Grant got sent off last night, so does that mean he will not be allowed in the dug out for Saturday or does it not take effect until their next league match? if they have another league match left that is
  17. As much as I would like to see them disapear all together, I just can't see it happening. They will get out of it. They don't smell fishy for nothing I hope I am wrong though.
  18. I bet the smelly skates live to see another day. They will have something fishy up there sleeves that is for sure. The game will be on Saturday, I only hope that we can stuff them as a consolation prize. I know I really shouldn't but I really dislike Portsmouth
  19. More groups of people with more money than sense looking to buy Pompey? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8502752.stm Rich and stupid... Pompey will take anyones dirty money to survive
  20. A Saints win would make this a great weekend!!!!
  21. Its sounds all too predictable at the moment...Come on Saints, surprise me, and win this game!!!!
  22. It doesn't matter who is in the team, Saints will always do it.
  23. I clicked on the link and it made me cry with laughter!!! Seriously though they should play this at St Mary's when the teams come out, now that would be funny
  24. I do worry that we have seen the last of Connell. Its obvious that he is a class player and at this level he could score a lot of goals. But It seems the old groin injury has been a problem again recently. Pardew has been quiet about him too. So I am not too sure its good news. I hope I am wrong though. I hope he is fully fit to play against Pompey. Even if it was the last time he kicked a ball for us I’d be happy to have him in the squad that day. If he was to score the winning goal or goals and that was the last thing he ever did for Saints. He would become a new Saints legend and would be worth a season of paid wages at the least.
