We have a game against Swansea (top of the league), Bristol (who for some reason always beat us) and Wrexham away (who are tricky and will be out for revenge after last season). We then have an international break of 3 weeks where TE is likely to hear his fate from the FA. So given that has Tonder got 3 games to save his job? I don’t necessarily agree with it but if we get only a couple of points from those 3 games I can see a different incumbent come October.

I agree and I did say if. Arguably he’s not been as assured as he was last season. It can’t be right though to have such an important position with basically no competition for his place? AR is the only player with the ability to challenge him but TE has basically said Long is his #2. That’s not healthy

Meanwhile we have arguably the best keeper in the league shopping every Saturday afternoon. This is professional sport, it’s dog eat dog and our best team should be out on the pitch. I don’t lay the blame on DP for much this season but we can’t just blindly select him if he becomes an issue.

Just back from the game, my fourth this season…………I’m still waiting for that team that will ‘have me out of my seat’. If those are our striker choices then I’ll bite your hand off for top 8 now. Tonder needs to take responsibility for that performance.

Many were clamouring for Stewart to come back. Yet again he’s not in the Swansea squad tonight. Too early for DM but personally I think he’ll be better over the course of the season and more reliable than Ross may have been

If we don’t get a decent CB and that costs us promotion then arguably it’ll cost more than the difference for Falchener. If that’s the case it’s short sighted and amateurish.

All about opinions but he played in that disastrous PL season. Without him that season it would have been significantly worse. I like DP but if he has many more games like Tuesday and AR is still at Saints then how long will it be before everyone is calling for a change? fans are becoming more and more impatient

So if we don’t off load Ramsdale he is for me a better keeper than Peretz and should be #1.

If JWP comes ‘home’ I’d imagine his salary won’t be ridiculous. He strikes me as someone who is fairly pragmatic and probably puts family and happiness at this stage of his career as being more important than money.
