Public sevices going down the pan,higher bills,no pay rises(if you are lucky enough to still have a job),less police,more criminals,workers rights diminished,higher waiting lists for hospital treatment,fewer nurses,higher taxes,less government money to councils so their services are cut and council tax bill are higher. This is how the Condems are ruining the country.You still think the country needs this Dune?

I disagree. Sure Churchill did come along at the right time and he did stand up to the Nazis when a lot of our government wanted to broker a piece deal and he should be remembered for that,but that doesnt change the fact that he did make a lot of mistakes and was very ruthless.Im not trying to put Churchill in a bad light,im just saying that he wasnt the greatest person ever,as some on here would have us think.

How about Geoffery Archer who used to be the treasurer of the Tory party? How many times was he convicted of fraud? How many times was he made bankrupt? How many affairs did he have,at a time when the Tories were preaching family values?In fact i remember John Major making a big thing about the importance of a strong family,just as details of his affair with Edwina Curry were made public. The Tories a party of hypocrites.

Of course Churchill was such a great role model wasnt he? If it wasnt for the fact he stood up to Hitler,Churchill would have been remembered differently. This is the man who helped plan the Gallippoli disaster,which was so bad and cost so many allied lives, he felt the need to resign afterwards. This was the man that was so unpopular between the wars,that many (even in his own party),thought his political career over He wanted to send in troops against striking Welsh miners who were arguing for better conditions. Straight after the war,the country had a general election and threw him out of office because he was considered outdated with his views. So Dune,quoting Churchill makes no difference to me.

I have Sky with thousands of channels on offer and yet after trawling through page after page of tripe,its always the BBC i end up watching.Although i think the licence could be funded differently,it should never be privatised. Also as a socialist,i think the BBC is impartial and does offer a balanced view of the political landscape of Britain.If it was privatised,the BBC would just become another Murdoch mouthpiece.

This whole sorry episode has been a farce from day one. This has been totally blown out of proprotion in the hope of getting a few easy convictions and the injustice is that those innocent Saints fans have been treated very badly by the justice system and by the media.If i ever get mugged or burgled,i hope the police put just as much effort in trying to catch those real criminals,as they have trying to convict a few fence rattlers. Those poor Saints fans who have been proved innocent should never have had their pictures in the paper,or been banned from St Marys(even Wembley),because they should have been treated as innocent until proved otherwise.But if you show a bit of passion at a football match,you are considered a yob,by the police ,end of.Imagine cricket,tennis or even rugby fans treated the same?There would be an outcry. Anyway sorry for the rant,im just fed up with the way we are treated at football and although i dont know any of those Saints fans who were on trial,im glad they have their lives back.

Sorry but that article is totally wrong. Ever since the Premiership days we have been rubbish at defending corners.We have also been rubbish scoring from them. In fact most things never seem to work for us,but work perfectly for other teams,such as Delaps long throws. Its just one of those annoying things you have to put up with when you support Saints.

We did very bad things against the Boars in the South African war,in fact we made the first concentration camps.We used to have an empire,made up from countries around the world,most of which we used force against.It stands to reason we commited crimes against the native people we ruled. The news only ever reports on the tiny minority of people calling themselfs Muslims,the same who spew hatred and intolerance.The rest of the muslim community,the 99.9% go about their lives just trying to make a living and keeping themselfs to themselfs. Does everyone think that all of the Irish people are bombers because of the IRA? Lets get things into perspective.

Wow thats a strong statement. Funny coloured?Whats that?Brown,yellow,black,green,pink?A lot of different coloured people have fought for Britain through out all of our wars in the 17th-21st centuries.We also needed the help of non white people after both world wars,to rebuild our economy.So i would say we owe those non white people a lot. As for native white people of Britain,do you mean the Angles,picks,saxons,Romans,Germanic tribes,French tribes who settled here? The only point i agree with is that our troops are indeed brave. I dont agree with those protesters who were at that poppy parade,in fact i think they are scum,but we live in a free country with free speech which has been fought for by millions of black,white,brown,in fact every colour of the worlds people. So in future Deppo dont be so racist,as it shames the memory of all of those brave COMMONWEALTH soldiers who have gone before.

But they can find the money to fight two major wars,keep trident and give billions to overseas aid? Perhaps the government have the wrong priorities?

I was on the Poll tax march 20 odd years ago (makes me feel old),and although 99% of protesters were peaceful,the trouble there was on all the news and it was the lead story for days.Eventually the Poll tax was changed.Im not saying it was because of the march,but it sure helped things along. I also went on the anti war march in London,where over a million protesters marched against the government.There was no violence and the march achieved absolutely nothing.

Actually,apart from the trouble,im really proud of all of those students who went to London to protest against the injustice of the Condem policies.Its about time the student population started to become interested in politics and the things that affect them.I think its rich that the MPs who all had a free education and got us into this mess in the first place,now have the cheek to preach to our younger generation that they have to pay for mistakes that are not their fault and the hipocrisy of the Libdems is astounding. Just a thought,how much airtime do you think their march would have had,if it had been peaceful?Two minutes at the most?

Pompey fans have been kept behind at St Marys before because in the FA Cup game when Crouch scored the last minute penalty against them,they were not allowed out until most Saints fans had left the area.There were no problems that day because of this. Thet were only let out at the same time in February,because either.........the police were incompetent,............or they wanted to justify their use of so many officers (most on overtime,i bet),and the use of the police horses.
