We replaced Pelle & Mane with inferior players that's the issue here a huge step down in quality anyone can see that including the teams we play against they know we are weak in attack

This last years team was exciting & you could see the goal threat this team just looks distinctly average & the type of football we seem to play is just as boring, i.e let's pass to each other all day long & prove we can keep possession but not really do anything with it

we bought in a manager thats used to running clubs on limited finances there must be a reason for that, particularly with the lack of quality investment so far

Every team needs a proven 15 goal+ a season striker to survive in the premier league, Long has never been known for being consistent enough to get much over double figures, Jrod looks a shadow of the former player he was, & redmond although scoring today the striking role isn't his natural position, i just don't see where the required amount of goals are going to come from?

Good news! He's Probably better than Lallana? when he's on his A game, we've seen glimpses of it but not enough

We continue to replace our best players on the cheap, sell a £34 million player & replace him with a £11 million player & hope for the best, it has worked well in the past but our luck has to run out soon, cant see us ever replacing like for like i.e investing the full amount of a players sale back into the squad replacing quality with equal quality

Underwhelmed by Claude Puel, but then most were underwhelmed by Pochettino, & Koeman even! bit confused as to how he was seen as the best option by the club but it makes sense with Les reed interviewing! but he should be given a fair chance
