How can you possibly know for certain no money changed hands at a later time? It might well have changed hands after the meeting, your not going to hand over a large sum of cash in the middle of a hotel Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

we've been pretty ineffective tonight
-
I'm surprised the club aren't annoyed at him for telling the media there's "no offer on the table" is he trying to force their hand like he has a divine right to another pay rise Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

We shouldn't be held to ransom by fontes wage demands, he is more than well paid enough and only has a couple of years left tops, he had been a good servant to the club but ever since united showed interest he has been nowhere near his best. It is clear he isn't going to sign a new contract so get what we can for him & let VVD be captain he seems to do a good job of it already! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

We played very well today in general, a few scary moments in a 15 minute spell when wham seemed likely to get a goal back but a great clearance off the line from VVD! Bertrand VVD & Pierre in in particular stood out, prepared to admit I might be wrong about puel, still a long way to go though Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

classie is more of a lightweight than gaston even! goes over like a feather

Read between the lines! I was meaning that usually when players come out in support of their manager it means the manager might be on his way out ie the kiss of death! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Why two of them? Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Ralph Krueger; "The most interesting man in the world".
Mr X replied to Polaroid Saint's topic in The Saints
Ralph Krueger as nice as he may/maynot be, should not be our chairman, think everyone in the country thinks we can do better, our chairman role seems almost a made up role so he could be employed, what does he actually do? other than cringeworthy motivational talks? how he got the job is anyones guess obviously good friends with Kat. -
I think the club know if they sold him now it would be at a loss so they are gambling on him getting better in the next couple of years & continuing their policy of sell on at a profit, we certainly need someone to fill clynes role, martina is certainly no long term replacement for clyne but he is much better in attack than cedric.
-
People forget Cedric was supposed to be a ready made replacement for clyne but so far he doesn't look like being able to reach anywhere that level! the only skill ive seen from him is he can be quite pacy but most of his crosses are pants and his passing is sloppy his defending is no better or worse than martinas. Martina although older is more effective for us in my opinion.
-
YoShida is to prone to mistakes averages one or two serious ones every game!
-
How many times a season does yoshida do an underhit back pass
-
What's most amazing is that martina is a better player than cedric!
-
Terrible terrible attitude from tadic!!!!! Never a penalty but hey we deserve some luck!
-
I am behind the times haha, proven to be rubbish then?
-
Rumours that Puel has had a huge bust up with tadic
-
The worrying thing is even if we were are in or hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone at xmas I can't see the board accepting they've made a mistake with his appointment, I personally think they will stick with puel whatever the consequences are!
-
Agreed Id rather beat swansea, europe is great don't get me wrong but we are never going to realistically go far in it anyway especially judging by our league performances
-
Agreed no disrespect to swansea who are a good side at times but we should be taking 3 points
-
Just how important is this game now in the scheme of things? will the players get despondent with puel should we lose again? What team & formation would you start?
-
Good post agree with your summary & the bold bit may be our downfall if the players think it too, there's still plenty of time for puel to turn things around but i'm not convinced he will if he persists with a system that seems ineffective & without a proven striker that's fit
