if we havent seen him improve his consistency in the time hes been here (hes had plenty of time to show he can get better) then theres nothing to suggest he will. Hope im proved wrong

i think as other posters have said the main issue is how much we paid had we paid four of five million most people wouldn't be too disheartened that he wasnt as good as expected but this player was hyped up beyond belief we truely believed we were getting a world class player. People can make all the excuses they want but its clear hes not well suited to the premiership. Who really signed him?

You have to ask the question who identified ramirez as a saints target? was it the scouting team? or was it merely one of corteses wild gambles like pochitino, adkins made it clear it wasnt his signing and their are rumours that the signing caused tentions between them adkins new he was on borrowed time

Happy to admit i may have been a bit harsh on him. I basically said he will never make it as a decent premiership striker but the the game against Tesco united was without doubt the best hes been his workrate was ridiculous and his movement caused them numerous problems. I certainly hope it wasnt a flash in the pan and he continues to improve. Is he premiership quality? time will tell i guess

As nice as our stadium is in terms of facilities. it really is bland personified at least the dell had real character to it back then we had a unique stadium I'm not saying it was suitable for the premiership it clearly wasn't, more that we now have a generic stadium in the rough end of town that has zero character wether or not that matters is down to debate.

Anti in terms of his character I hear he genuinely is a nasty piece of work from those that have been in contact with him. In terms of what hes done for the club Im obviously grateful but im not sure Sure i will acknowledge his part in our sucess in future times as he hasnt shown any true acknowledgement of adkins part other than a generic statement barely more than five words.
