useless header by fonte

when he's good he's very very good and when he's bad he's like someone that's never played football before. problem is you never know which ones gonna turn up!!!
-
but you know why that is right? we are saints for God's sake Tranmere anyone!
-
I can bet my life there's more goals in this hopefully at the right end I will cry if we chuck this away now!!!
-
we are so fpicking shot at defending we won't survive like this!!!
-
Am I the only one that thinks we need a striker come Jan ?
Mr X replied to Saints boy in Leeds's topic in The Saints
have you seen any evidence that j rod can put chances away? because I haven't he seems to either make the wrong decision in front of goal or just fluff it -
amen to that!
-
they are allegedly going to give him big money to spend in January though as a last bid at staying up
-
don't you think Harry will turn around qpr? i fear he will
-
could the point at Fulham be the point that keeps us up? could the lost points against Sunderland be the point we threw it away? find out in this season of the hbo series saints and sinners
-
problem is I can see qpr going on a run with ole dirty Harry
-
that has to be relegation form surely?
-
I want him to stay whatever happens but will cortese feel the same or is he still very much on borrowed time?
-
Tough fixtures, can only see one win from this list and that probably won't be good enough, what do you see? stoke away = loss arsenal home = loss Aston villa away = win Everton home = loss man United away = loss even if we pull off a couple of unlikely draws too that would still only give us five points from a possible fifteen worrying

I Agree lallana can be frustrating in his decisions but at least he has an eye for goal
-
Has Adkins got anything right since the end of last season
Mr X replied to lydlinch saints's topic in The Saints
Agree with some points here but this probably isn't the right time to vent anger we are stuck with the players for the time being hopefully reinforcements are coming in very soon. We aren't going to do any better than Adkins and he has at least shown passion for the club all we can do is shout the team on to victory -
you certainly said this with a smirk Lallana is currently adding far more to the team than Ramirez he actually seems a pivotal player in changing a game whereas I've yet to see that from Ramirez not saying he can't prove me wrong for rest of the season
-
this is true. talented player but not performing at the level we would expect at the moment for whatever reason to early to write him off though. Hope I'm wrong but I think this signing will come back to haunt Us either when we are in the championship trying to 're- coup our debts or when we go to sell him and find we get nowhere near what we paid. I guess they deemed that putting all our bets on one player was worth the gamble rather than buying two or three cheaper but proven in the premiership players that would have sorted the defence and a midfield organizer with true grit.
-
thats strange you think that as according to solent he had a very poor game and wasnt at the races at all
-
true but can you tell me that anyone who signs a 14 million pound creative player doesn't expect them to contribute a few goals? I know that's not solely what they should be judged on but it's what sfc would have wanted surely? Plus he hasn't even been assisting lately
-
one way of looking at is Steven fletcher was there best player yesterday and cost the same amount as rameriz And is on nine goals this season I know who I'd rather have at the moment
-
If we don't win this one then we can't really say we deserve to stay up we've had too many games we should have won
-
Ahh yes I am incorrect about that then I just thought he brought de-ridder on for puncheon around about ten minutes to go
-
He is good a getting the best out of mediocre players the last two seasons has proved that beyond doubt I also admire his positivity even when we've played as badly as against Sunderland he focuses on the positives and is upbeat like we nearly won. Tactics don't seem to be his main strength and he seemed neither to have a clear strategy at the start of the Sunderland game or the finish when it was clear mayuka and lambert wasn't working he waited till eighty mins to make a change cant help but feel Adkins puts the pretty passing game ahead of everything else and we have no plan b even when that isn't working do you feel Adkins can mix it up when it's not working or is he a little one dimensional?
-
exactly plus the fact that if we are indeed heading back to the championship neither j rod or Ramirez are going to stay and currently I can't see us getting more than five million back for Ramirez I can't see any premiership clubs showing an interest on current form and j rod is best suited to the championship
