there is a correlation between money spent and league position but its not as black and white as that however whichever way you look at it Adkins has been given the largest transfer kitty in the clubs history and has spent it absolutely bizarrely (little premiership experience and in totally the wrong areas when we should have built up from the back four) in Adkins defence I don't believe these our solely his signings Cortese is pulling more strings behind the stage than anyone can imagine

As it says in the title we have spent one of the highest amounts on transfer fees and we haven't brought any experience with one or two exceptions. This surely is a basic basic error one that I feel only cortese's influence could have made Adkins isn't that dumb or is he?

Mine won't be a popular view but I vote get someone new in I'm confident that we are good enough for at least seventeenth place with a manager of premiership pedigree question is who would want to come here especially if the Cortese is in control rumours are to be believed? The problem is if we don't act now then it will be too late I personally feel Adkins isn't the main to turn us around because he shows no signs of learning from his mistakes. Sorry I thought you were referring to the team duh not Adkins future. Yes I agree Cortese wouldn't be a happy chappy and would have his finger on the trigger. I like Adkins as a person but I feel he has made big mistakes this season, how important do you think it is that we have a manager with premiership experience? Right now it feels as if this is a steep learning curve for Adkins and unfortunately you don't get a honeymoon period in the premiership to adapt to what's needed.
