why does he look so fat? he is Definitely the best of a bad bunch of keepers but no long term solution he has maybe a couple of seasons in him tops and all though he had a good game Saturday I feel another disaster performance is around the corner as he often tries to be cocky in the penalty area doing silly stuff with the ball when he should just boot it away

I don't doubt his talent but he seems to do all the fancy footwork and tricks but give the ball away a lot when a as simple pass w would suffice that's my main problem with him. I personally think all the hype about him was agent talk he certainly wasn't being chased by a top three club ie man United, man city or Chelsea he will get better though he's not terrible just average

having an opinion isn't moaning or are we all supposed to say all our players are brilliant all the time simply because they play for saints? nobody on here has . said Gaston is rubbish merely that he hasn't performed as well as he could have. if you can't tolerate any opinions that aren't all out praising of every player and the club as a whole than a forum probably isn't for you

that's a good assessment we do indeed have to mix our formation up at times and maybe that is the way forward
