This may be a little unfair as I don't know the guy personally, just his posts tend to make me think the worst, so the bold comment should have been a question

I felt this post on the daily echo site summed it up nicely subsea saint, southampton says... 1:26pm Tue 23 Dec 08 I have just returned from the AGM, many thanks to Mary Corbett, Leon Crouch, Lawrie McMenemy, Duncan Holley, Perry McMillan and the other shareholders who addressed the meeting for their views and questions as they seemed to reflect the majority opinion. Apart from the self promoting 'anonymous' letter read out by Lowe and the first person to address the meeting, all those who spoke were deeply critical of Lowe and his two cronies, Cowan and Jones. It was strangely convenient that Michael Wilde could not be there ?? If Lowe was ever in any doubt as to the feelings of the company's shareholders towards him, he certainly isn't now having been asked to resign a number of times. Lowe sat there with the same arrogant veneer and pompous grin he always reserves for dealing with those people who he deems to be less than himself. The one thing that I have taken away from this meeting which saddens me even further than our current plight already does, is that Lowe is deluded enough to believe that he is at the club in the role of a saviour and does not seem to realise that he is to blame to a greater degree for the mismanagement that has lead to our current situation. Being a Saints fan currently is like watching a close life-long friend die a slow, drawn out and painful death. Whilst Lowe remains at this club the current downward spiral is going to continue.

Apologies if already done, Poorvliet has confirmed that stern John won't be returning to the club, nothing we didn't already know but I still find it beggars belief, how we could have done with a physical presence against forest, Mcgoldrick and Bwp it is then....... we just have to hope one of them hits form I guess

we should actually all sing this to lull Lowe into a false sense of security, before we dispatch him! We need to mess with his mind and what better way to do it he certainly wouldn't be expecting praise from the fans.............. then again thats prob exactly what hes expecting

Thankyou mate, sorry its just most of the time people spout this kinda stuff of without any real source, Michael Wilde should hang his head in shame the only excuse I can see for non attendance would be the passing of one of his immediate family other than that no excuse, it seems like he planned ages ago not to attend. why in the name of all things sane would pearson walk out on leicester? there top of the league, have a good chance of going up and have reasonable finance, If he came back he'd be under huge pressure to turn things around quickly, plus hes prob more than happy at leicester there is zero chance hed come back to saints it would be career suicide

he must have had a certain degree of motivation to keep us up virtually single handedly on two or three seasons don't you think?

I think hes actually played well at times ufortunately hes made a couple of bad errors that have overshadowed the rest of his game

I used to think people on this thread were giving McG a hard time for no reason, but after the performance he put in today I'm not so sure, he was non existent
