lots of "arrogant ******" comments, most people dont get his sense of humor unfortunately
-
good post, maybe the money for lallana and surman will end up being our pathway to new management, if we can think of a way to overcome the obstacle called Lowe
-
Your'll notice I said no viable alternative, as in we don't have the finances for any kind of replacement that would be good enough to get us out the sheite creek, not only would we have to pay the new man prob nearly twice as much we would also have to pay off jan, plus I really can't see Lowe doing a u-turn on his own idea it would be an admission of failure and thats not something Lowe will ever do sadly
-
think concentrating on our own survival battle is more important though imo
-
what makes you think that? ,he is here for the rest of the season whatever the results as there is no viable alternative
-
why the hell does pompey have to constantly get brought up? the tables have turnt and they are currently way better than us of that there can be no argument, get over it. Its more than clutching at straws to suggest they are in a similar position
-
It says Nick Illingsworth Chairman of the Saints Trust and a shareholder in Southampton, they mention hes a shareholder like it's a very significant thing, anyone know how much he owns? or did he just tell them to print that to big himself up?
-
what parts of lowe does he love? or shouldn't i ask? ;)
-
I see so anyone that can't afford a season ticket, is not a fan in your eyes? just when you think you've heard it all..............
-
If you let the smug git stop you from going to games then he has won, u need to be strong in these, the toughtest of times, support the team, and remember what goes around comes around Lowe will see that eventually
-
You speak the truth, its amazing how many people still believe we are sudenly going to become a mid table team, and that everything is rosey yet when you have an opinion on their blind faith they call u every name under the sun
-
totally lost the plot in my opinion, yes we play pretty stuff but it has got us absoulutely friggin nowhere. How we can can win one game in eleven at home and not be playing like a relegation side beggars belief! I think he is assuming that if you play attractive stuff you are not playing relegation football. wake-up jan the only thing that counts is wether you win the game or not at the end of the day!
-
I get what your saying, When all is said and done its blindingly obvious that the dutch revolution/ Rupert Lowe experiment isn't working but also realize there aren't any viable alternatives within our finances, the bed is made now we have to lie in it
-
huh? under the current strategy we aren't going to stay up, sorry don't get what point ya making
-
that makes no sense whatsoever so lowes duch experiment was a "longterm strategy" that just makes his total football experiment even more ridiculous, we need something thats going to work quickly if were going to stay up. we haven't got time on our side unless his longterm strategy is to take us to division 1
-
we got very lucky on the last day when a manager with a backbone and good player discipline methods just about managed to squeeze enough of a performance out of a mediocre team to scrape staying up An achievement against the odds, It won't happen twice (and remember the striker that kept us up isn't here) more than willing to be prooved wrong though
-
yes......... now apologize
-
Half way through the season........its going to get worse I fear!!!
Mr X replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
We got very lucky on the last day last season, I fear that this season is completely un-repairable to much damage has been done. This is our season to go down all the signs are there. And theres nothing we can do other than sit back and watch the whole sorry mess -
sorry things have got so bad i've resorted to trying to see the funny side of the whole situation....... if we don't laugh we'll cry and all that
-
Dont worry be happy Lowe is going to issue a formal apology to all fans and except his share of the responsibiliy he will be both humble, sympathetic and sincere further more he will wish us a jolly good christmas and new year, we will all get invites to his christtmas pheasant shoot Rupert all is forgiven
-
along with deciding he knows everything about football when he knows f*!K all I have given this experiment time but enough is enough this along with him being on the pitch on tuesday issuing orders is the final straw. Can't bear to look at his smug face a second longer. call it kneejerk or whatever but till hes as far away from sfc as possible I wont be 100% happy have never liked the bloke and never will, I know someone who met him firsthand and he really is as arrogant as he comes across
-
Its a decision that will result in us not being in this league next year imo
-
but we cant keep this squad together that is the reality, there will be players sold in the transfer
-
I genuinely expected to finish mid table before we got rid of everyone who knows where the goal is, with the current team we should be good enough to finish a couple of places above the relegation zone but when we lose surman, lallana, davis etc in the trasfer window we will be as good as down
