We've won, 2-1, 3-1, 5-1, 3-0, 3-1 and 3-2. Of those 6 only one hasn't been a smashing. We hadn't won by more than a goal in fucking years. Are you expecting us to win by 3 every game? In the most competitive second division in the world? Its short termism based on the last 45 mins of football. That's it. Otherwise by most metrics we've smashed teams. We slow down in the second half due to fatigue (Scienza has played in exactly 14 Championship games - he's fucked at 70 mins - Fellows is young and depends on speed for his game, fucked around 70 mins). We can't SMASH teams for 90 mins because a) some of them are fucked and our bench is a little light due to injuries and quality and b) because Tonda is still figuring it out. Again, short term bias because we are by most metrics 'smashing' teams.

No they are not, which is precisely, well some of, my point. We weren't really pressed by Brum, Charlton, Wednesday or Leicester after HT - a little by QPR, and a lot by WBA. It's called overreaction and its fucking tragic after the 6th win in 7. Some have been able to put the concerns into a coherent reaction - as I would argue yours mostly is, and I would agree with some of those concerns - but the fucking short-term bias on 45 mins of average footy is fucking jarring when we should be happy with the win first, and then do some actual post mortem afterwards. The guy has been in charge for 7 senior games - Aribo is the answer to no questions, and fucking Archer is so shit I don't know where to start but with Stewart maybe, maybe even Downs and defo Charles I think we start to have better options across the park.

Fuck me there are some right nellies in here. I think it really comes down to a bit of complacency having stomped teams every first half, and then some fatigue. I don't think Tonda has all the answers just yet, and there are a few things to work on but WBA are really the first team to give us much trouble post HT and you know, we just won the 6th in 7th game.

I think there is a level of fatigue going on so something for Eckert to remedy. But the outlet dies with him and Fellows who also looked tired.
-
It's when Scienza goes off, he's such an outlet for relieving pressure as well as everything else.
-
I can't quite get over the change in pace. Same formation, same personnel, completely different way of playing. The directness is a thing of beauty at the moment.
-
Based on a previously stellar goal scoring record? He ran a bit. He often does. Its the rest he's no good at.
-
Yeah mirrors my thoughts. Fast, but that just means he gets to miss sooner than if he didn't have any pace.
-
Then I feel like you might end up pretty disappointed

Aged like fine milk! Haha joking because you are right. Great way to respond though!

Which current squad member will play in the next world cup.

Brazil are fucking shite so Scienza should - said with some tongue in cheek. But they are shit. -
I can't actually believe what I'm watching. We're bullying teams, being arseholes at corners, shoving their defenders around, dark arts shit. And then on top you've got the reincarnation of 1970s Brazil. Like I said, fuck it give him the job.
-
Great header. Great save. Leo also doing great things to relieve pressure. I'd like to win this one please
-
What. The. Actual. Fuck.
-
Fuck it I'm convinced. Give him the job.
-
Was he actually there?

The absolutely galling thing, for both Still and for us as fans, is we're doing nothing different to what we did for the last 6 weeks. I'll take it for sure but I get the whole false dawn feeling.
-
FFS!

I said this on the match thread in midweek - But Still FREQUENTLY played the 3 at the back at Lens - in fact almost always so no idea where his love for 4231 came from because he barely ever played it. Thus it was a WS thing; not a SR thing for anyone believing otherwise. But Eckert needs to drop it - its an awful watch especially at home to Wednesday.
-
I wouldn't put him on the tills at Tesco's

This last 7 mins or so has been comedy both on here and in the game. Fucking Baz again. I'm convinced now he's still on Pompey's books.
-
But apart from that what have the Romans done for us. Jokes aside he's still better than Bazunu. I don't even understand how he's a goalkeeper at this level let alone for us.
-
I actually forgot he was on the pitch
-
Baz will you get back in goal please FFS!
