Yep (is it 30% now though?). And I believe that is the arrangement here. But the enforcement of said loan is a lot less harsh (for want of a better word) in these instances than in the bank loan situation was ultimately my point. At the end of the day until they start screaming for that money because they are short of a bob or two (they aren't) that debt will only become an issue should the family wish to sell. So the club I guess you could argue are in debt as a single entity but as part of the group structure they aren't.

Unless someone wishes to correct me this is a not a loan in the sense that we borrowed it from a bank say. This is an accounting thing where the loan has come down from the top company/entity to a subsidiary and although it appears as a loan in the accounts it's really only redeemable on sale of the club for example.

With good reason. He has, by his own admission, been 'below par' (I'd say ****ing awful) this season. He has no brain footballing wise which is what frustrates them. Can't argue with 'the games you've seen' part as I don't know what they are. But by comparison AOC has had a bigger impact this season. And as for 'always gets a few'. His goal against Swansea was the first in months and only his third this season. So many times Theo plays the wrong ball it's ludicrous. So they are moaning for a reason. He really should have 'come on' a lot more than he has.

However, Lambert is worth way more to us than anyone else. He could well be the difference between promotion and not. Therefore a price tag of 30million is not an unreasonable asking price to us. That said Celtic could win that Mickey Mouse league without Hooper, they can also ill afford to turn down a tempting offer of 6.5 million plus, which we clearly can (otherwise we wouldn't be offering that much). Thus although not beyond the realms of possibility, in practical terms this is barely a discussion and even less of a news story.
