Jose Mourinho: Signing Luke Shaw would have "killed" Chelsea
farawaysaint replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
James Wilson is scoring for fun in the youth divisions and had an incredible debut in the PL, I expect him to be one of the greats if he continues to develop at this rate. -
I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here, and assuming you meant a different company in the group, but I don't think the holding company actually employs anyone at all.
-
Nah, recognised as an expense as service is performed.
-
Agree to the 2013 audited figures yep. 12.5m of the current liabilities is amounts owed to KL which were supposed to be repaid in 2014, 11mill represents outstanding transfer fees to be paid in 2014, 9 mill owed to the holding co, 16 mill of accrued liabilities and the remainder trade debtors, tax and the 5mill advance we took out. It is worth noting however that our assets are massively understated if you look at fair values as Lallana, Shaw, Chambers and all other academy players will not be recorded in the books so the real picture is quite a bit rosier.

I can't even find the website let alone the post, link please.
-
We are a 100% held subsidiary of ST Mary'S Football Group Limited which is in turn 100% held by KL, there are no other shareholders.
-
She has put in 50million or so and converted half that to equity so I don't think this is a stick to beat KL with frankly.
-
We are in the premier league, assuming KL does not put equity in we are allowed to make a total maximum loss of 15mill over 3 years. Assuming our wages are at least 52million we can also only increase the wage bill by 4million year on year (77,000 a week), I think that's it anyway.
-
My vitriol came from his first press conference
-
Never claimed to, all I said was I don't think we have the need to sell 100million of players. Huffton referred to dire financial need, I don't think it exists is all, (of course no one has seen the 2014 results yet outside of St Mary's).
-
This is not a back of fag calculation, I purchased the audited results of 2013, what I have quoted are the actual figures.
-
2013 results showed we made a loss of about 5.3 million pounds, and had a total accumulated loss of 28 million pounds, the increase in prize money alone (excluding any ticket revenue) covers that, I refuse to believe we've racked up 100million in debts in one year that need to be settled. Oh, by the way these are the difficult results they are referring to, it is made mention of in these financial statements.
-
When the financials covering this year are released they should make some bloody interesting reading if nothing else.
-
I am not obsessed with cost, I do not like the loan system, we will not be able to use these players against Arsenal and next season we will be in exactly the same terrible position as we were before. I would also like to see some money reinvested frankly as this is ridiculous.
-
So we are spending our 100mill on loans? Woo.
-
I used to be proud to tell people I supported Saints, now if I do I get one of two reactions. a) Laughter (don't mind this too much frankly) b) Pity... Pity ffs.
-
I do not care about money right now, money is a fantastic argument for selling 1 or 2 players a year, it is a ridiculous one after that unless we desperately need it. Can you see us spending the 16million? What use is the money if it is not going into the squad at all?
-
When do you replace assets with good quality assets in an asset strip?
-
Sorry, didn't mean to impugn your views, news of Calum has soured me.
-
Please tell me when replacing an entire first 11 has proved a successful tactic?
-
Terrible attitude, Koeman is obliged by the people who pay him to put on a positive front.
-
FFS, I like to consider myself an optimist but I give up, this is ridiculous and can only be laid at the feet of the board. No rubbish about, "we are getting good players in, we are not Man City" this is insane, I accept 1 or 2 player sales a year for big bucks, this is football after all but this? This is a fire sale, (another term I have flat out refused to use until now) there are no two ways about it, our team is being demolished, replacing the entire first 11 with cut price substitutes is possibly the worst strategy since Pompey's buy 40 year olds with no resale value and pay them 100k a week masterpiece.
-
Clarification please? Did he insinuate Chambers has not been subject to bids?
-
Seriously? Go to hell Saints, wtf is going on on at board level? I am so fecked off I can't even begin to express.
