Overwhelming consensus of other fans seems to be that we've overpayed for young Rodriguez. Don't get me wrong I'm very excited by him but we may have to lower the expectations a 6million pound fee has set. He won't lose much value at least over the next years of his contract being young and English.

He's 25 now and Newcastle are probably planning to try and push on to the Champions league next year, (unlikely I know.) He'd be nothing but a bit-part player for them if he stays but he could do a decent job for many teams at this level.

Everyone saying Adkins would never get offered the Liverpool job, wonder what they're saying after the most recent round of managerial and player merry-go rounds. Frankly the prem scares me, bigger clubs trying to compete seem to fire their managers on a regular basis and swap them in for the young talented name of the day. Poor Norwich, can you imagine if we lost Adkins and Lambo? I'd go absolutely spare.

De Ridder, and Guly are quite fast; beyond that it's hard to argue with you. We are an incredibly slooooooooooow team though some of our youngsters if they make the grade are supposed to be lightning quick.
