Loans from parent companies to subs are still loans in the taxman's eyes unfortunately, the family has 3 choices, write off the loan in which case we still have to pay CGT on the full amount of the loan, (30% for you lot for companies I think so only 3million but still not exactly "free") claim some of it or sell the club and transfer the debt (reducing their fee for the club.) The debt is still there guys it's just a lot more friendly than a bank loan.

With mounting speculation that Celtic are looking to play in the English league like Swansea and Cardiff and that tit Lennon going on about how well they'd do in the prem what are everybodys thoughts on the matter? There's even talk of them joining the league in league 1 in place of Pompey when the inevitable happens and the skates go pop for good. Personally I don't think they should get such a concession and should have to work their way through the league system like eevryone else.

I play... Poorly, knew several friends who played online and won quite regularly enough to make an okish living off the game but it does tend to consume their lives if they play unchecked.
