Fine margins now. We're not sitting so comfortably. It can all change very quickly. By the end of Monday night things won't be looking so great. A tough run of games, can't help thinking we're going to go on a similar run of form to this time last year. City played very well on Sunday, but I think it might have knocked our confidence.

Sorry, didn't make it very clear, was referring to a top half finish. I think we will finish around 9th now, which would represent a successful season after everything that happened in the summer.The likes of Liverpool and Spurs (even though you constantly comment on how poor they supposedly are) are starting to gain a bit of momentum.

Possibly, but so many times there were half hearted attempts at tackles, Big Vic looked to be our only player giving it 100%. If Yoshida plays we are in massive, massive trouble, he's out of his depth at this level

The red card just made us even more vulnerable to a City counter, and so it proved. It seems people actually expected us to get a result out of this. City have spent millions to get to where they are, and today has just confirmed how far behind we are. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone

Forget those stats, only us scoring more goals than City today will matter. It's time for us to make a statement and show we are serious top 4 contenders. I won't be in panic mode. Just that I'd prefer a top 4 finish, something to remember. If we get a result tomorrow, it becomes a realistic possibility. I feel defeat will send us on our way back down to 7th/8th.Whilst we played well last season, finishing 8th was a waste of time. We weren't great last night against Villa, City are playing one of the top 3 teams in the world tonight. We will more than likely lose to City, but a draw or better would be an absolutely incredible achievement.
