  1. Some d*ckhead sitting behind us at Palace shouted: "for f*ck sake get Lallana off, the lad has no vision." This after one misplaced pass. With regards to the lad in his 20s wearing headphones and complaining about being pushed... we have some truly embarrassing fans, morons like that should stay at home.
  2. Anyone that doesn't sing should be escorted to the seats, this is the perfect occasion to create a superb atmosphere.
  3. Coventry, Watford and Preston North End.
  4. Ignore this thread, I was absolutely w*nkered when I wrote this. Seemed like a great idea at the time. Taxi for me...
  5. I'm f*cked off that we haven't got a song that is only for us. We need a tune like Delilah, those Stoke fans make one hell of an atmosphere with it. The Bristol Rovers fans have a right good go with Irene as well. We need a song that everyone can get involved with, also a cool song. I here by announce our new CLUB ANTHEM: Black Keys - Lonely Boy I'VE GOT A LOVE THAT KEEPS ME WAITING! This message will probably fall on deaf hears. Shame really, great song and something that we can all have a right old sing song with. Looking forward to hearing the hardcore singing it at Palace on Monday. UP THE SAINTS!
  6. I realise I'm adding to this thread but how the hell has this made 3 pages?! The Skates are probably reading this laughing their heads off. Get a grip!
  7. We need to find the Gambian George Weah, then we'll be in business. Great to see by the way.

There is a mini documentary on youtube about the nonce, it's so embarrassing and cringeworthy that I'm sure most of their limited fanbase would do everything possible to avoid him at away games. Suppose that's quite easy when they've taken 70 to Wigan when the stand holds 5,000. Massive club, simply massive...
  9. The local Late Kick Off programme here in East Anglia last night had Barry Fry as one of the guests. He commented on how getting rid of the terrace and 'upgrading' it to a seating stand would mean a potential loss of revenue of up to £1.5m. So basically they'll give us as many tickets as we like as they're not going to get many more paydays like it again. The terrace is going to be class.
  10. Expat Shield... rumours are that it's been mentioned.
  11. In Nigel we trust!
  12. As it's on BBC download Expat Shield and you should be able to watch it on the BBC website.
  13. It's taking 1 hour 51 minutes instead of the usual 1 hour 15 minutes. I'm guessing it's going via Guildford like they often do when there is work. Not so bad if you live in the capital but me and a few others are coming from outside London before we get to Waterloo. Just planning a good drink on the train now.
  14. Trains are poor thanks to engineering work between Waterloo and Southampton Central so we'd have to leave at silly o'clock if we wanted a good pre-match booze up. We're planning on staying around for a good while after the game. Fingers crossed most will be open then.
  15. Do we know whether pubs will be open after the game on the 7th April? As there will be no Skates about I'm sure it won't be a problem but it just depends on how the OB want to behave.
  16. Amazing weekend lined up, providing the lads don't bottle it.
  17. As my lot are staying in Newcastle I just checked trains for after the game. Potential trains are: 19:40 - taking 1 hour 24 minutes direct (anyone know of an off licence next to Boro station?) or 19:55 - taking 1 hour 34 minutes but a change in Darlington - on the plus side it's a 34 minute wait so a pint in the infamous Hogan's across from Darlo station is an option.
  18. That is decent for Bolton, I was always under the impression that they were expensive these last few years. Didn't Man City fans boycott a game there a year or so back due to stupid prices?
  19. The ones I would avoid due to the fact they'll either be too expensive or / and just full of JCL ***** with megastore bags from those clubs in the away end would be: Manchester United Liverpool Manchester City Chelsea Arsenal and Spurs just miss out on that list as they're easy to get to and I've always enjoyed my away days there. It was Highbury for Arsenal in fairness.
  20. There is a dirty little off licence / newsagents outside Waterloo that I've frequented over the years before 8am, the bloke always looks at me strangely when I buy a few cans.
  21. Agreed on the Skates game front, I'll be coming via London and was hoping to get into town early doors so this means a ridiculously early start now.
  22. Totally agree with this. The supporters who will be most inconvenienced will be those attending away games regularly. Going away has been fantastic since we got relegated from the Premier League. I do however want to win the Championship just for the record books.
  23. Plenty of Irish bars in Rome so they'll be your best bet.
  24. We've had a right touch there, I had visions of changing flights and getting shafted by Flybe in the process. 17:20 kick offs are decent, everyone half cut from an all dayer which will no doubt improve the atmosphere, just like Reading.
  25. Arsenal used to love a cheeky tour of Austria and we have been in Switzerland the last two preseasons... somewhere on the border of both countries would suit me! Not that I've clicked the link but who is the source? Some idiot that gets all his knowledge off Football Manager or someone at Arsenal?
