  1. I wouldn't read anything into what he says. He's also the one that said "I know the character of our people" which led many to think there was more to our side of the story, when there wasn't, we were guilty.
  2. Our case isn't comparable with Bielsa. Bielsa didn't break an actual written rule, he was charged with some wishy washy thing about not acting in good faith and defended himself. We were caught red handed in violation of a very specific rule. We were bang to rights. We sent him. Tonda organised it. It was specifically against the rules we'd agreed to. There was nothing to "go into attack mode" about.
  3. Absolutely. Got people saying "the fans deserved it" too because people were doing the binoculars etc, but I think that all came from the club seeming as though they weren't worried and it all seemed a bit of a storm in a teacup which the club would prove to be wrong.
  4. But it would have been unjust because there wasn't a rule saying you couldn't do it. Now there is. It's really not worth comparing to Leeds.
  5. If the club wanted to demonstrate serious contrition they should've sacked all involved or at least put them on gardening leave the moment we admitted to the rule break.
  6. Everybody involved needs to go. Clean slate. Time for SR to sell up.
  7. We got tickets in 239 but I'm a bit confused what that block is. Is it all Saints fans or is there some club wembley mixed in?
  8. The same Boro who said the spy was using professional recording equipment?
  9. That's not what X was saying though. He's saying can't we just pin it on the intern, which would be a pretty crappy move on saints part.
  10. And hang the poor lad out to dry? IF we did send him, that's a miserable move to make
  11. Agree with that. IF the club did send him and he was just doing what he was asked, I really hope they don't hang him out to dry.
  12. If we have been doing it systematically, surely it can't have been as amatuer as that photo suggests this was or we'd have been caught long ago. Something still doesn't quite add up to me.
  13. It's a shame for the EFL that we didn't finish below Boro on GD. If we had they could've imposed a 3 or even 6 point penalty to this season and it wouldn't have affected the playoffs at all. They would've set a precedent without opening themselves to claims from Boro that it put them at a disadvantage and affected the playoff scheduling. But now they can't do that as any points penalty applied to this season would put us below Boro, and Boro would argue they should've played at home second. The length of time it's all taken to get to this point has caused some of the issues they now have in deciding what to do.
  14. The thing that I'll be annoyed about if he genuinely was sent by the club isn't so much that we did it, and more how utterly inept the attempt appears to have been. I just can't compute THAT (the photo) being what the club would've expected if they did sent somebody to do some covert surveillance.
  15. I am so baffled by this. IF the club sent him for some super secret spying, that cannot possibly be his attempt.
  16. You have to email them to transfer and the deadline is today. Frustratingly it says on the website that if anything isn't 100% correct they just wont do it rather than query, which means you have no way of knowing whether they've just not got to you yet, or you got something wrong and they aren't going to do it.
  17. Sorry it went on Monday.
  18. It is at the moment yep! Let me know if you want it.
  19. I've got a spare on its own in the chapel. Block 18 Row X. Face value if anybody wants it £40. Just have to arrange the transfer with the club so you'll need an account which meets the criteria (purchase history)
  20. I think my mate and I might've both bought tickets from the exchange, just waiting to confirm with him. Am I right in thinking you can't return them to the exchange but I could sell (at face value) on here and transfer to somebody legitimately on the app?
  21. They can test positive because all NHS staff are being tested at least twice weekly pro-actively.
  22. Fair enough, that’s what I was missing then!
  23. Ah thanks, that makes sense but pretty useless on their part (not that I’m surprised) to get it so wrong and give completely the wrong impression.
  24. I see the media are leading with the headlines of hospital numbers being their highest since March. It's an attention grabbing headline but the numbers have barely risen over the past 2 weeks despite the panic predictions. Also as far as I can see, this is innacurate https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-number-of-people-in-hospital-with-coronavirus-in-england-hits-highest-level-since-march-12504769 " The number stood at 8,474 as of 8am on Monday, according to NHS England. This is up 27% from a week earlier and is the highest number since 5 March, when the country was under tough lockdown restrictions." https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/healthcare According to the 'patients in hospital' graph here though, it looks to me that it's only the highest since 16th November. Also last Monday the figure was 7825, so 8474 is about an 8% rise not a 27% rise. Am I missing something here?
