  1. I have still been going to games but I do know what you mean, I don't feel quite so attached to it. I think I have probably taken a subconcious step back from it as it's just too bloody painful to think about where my club (that I used to be so proud of) now sits. Last season felt like a blip which we could overcome and then get back to battling for promotion, this season has brought the realisation that this is not a blip, it's where we are as a club.
  2. Just calm down and read Steve Grants first post in this thread. No clarification needed. "We have struck a deal with the club to provide shirts for the game, with name and number printed on the back. Please note that this will include the SHIRT ONLY (last season's home shirt [without sponsor logo], this season's away shirt - all in size XL, the biggest still available). You will need to provide your own shorts and socks - when you have been put into either the "home" or "away" team, we will let you know which colours you will need."
  3. They were all over us for a few minutes before that change was made. The players had already started to get behind the ball and defend deep, and if they're going to do that anyway it makes sense to have Liptak doing it rather than Saga.
  4. How do you explain that Surman is playing then? Down negative man.
  5. For heavens sake. What do you want the man to say?
  6. I thought the fans were pretty good on Saturday considering the total non-event of a first half. I don't think Jan is trying to blame the fans as such, simply pointing out that there is naturally a bit more pressure/expectation on the team at home, and some of the younger lads are struggling with it slightly. He regularly points out that the team appreciate the support they get, and Davis said the same in his interview too.
  7. One of the most depressing nights I can ever remember Saints giving me.... If you are easily upset, don't follow the link or the bad memories will come flooding back. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/1178964.stm
  8. I suggest we all ignore GM and his 2+2=5 theories completely to avoid this degenerating into an argument. Get well soon Mick and Jack.
