Controverisal.... So european, hetrosexual people who aren't smack heads are safe then? Thats not what Katie, 26 who wasn't an actress told me on the telly in 1991.

Strange isn't it. Despite it being so widespread i've never met anyone who has it, or know of anyone i know meeting anyone that has it.

Do people still get it? Back in the 80s it was the disease of choice for our celebrities, these days they are more interested in checking themselves into clinics to fight the current trend of anxiety, depression or addiction. 25 years ago you couldn't open a paper without a story about it or turn on the telly with hearing 'this is not the voice of an actor, James is 28 and HIV positive'. It was so serious even eastenders ran a story on it. warnings were everywhere, wear condoms, don't share needles, these days it barely gets a mention even on Holby City. So like Acid rain did the threat stop in about 1996 or are we all still at risk if we so much as use the same urinal as a carrier?
  4. Its called realism pal.
  5. The funny thing is for all the talk of our easy start, had we played Man City and Man United a couple of months ago we'd have probably won them both.
  6. Me too, how they gave Gerrard MOTM is beyond me, apart form his goal which was a cock up by the defender thought he was average at best. Factor in Leicester played 30 mins with ten men, missed an open goal and two Liverpool goals came from mistakes then they've got away with one tonight. Both teams poor and Leicester were full of effort but zero quality.
  7. Level surface persecutors?
  8. Liverpool laboured to a 1-0 win in Saturday and are narrowly beating a poor Leicester team who are woefully out of form. They're hardly finding form you plum.
  9. Mongboard etiquette is you don't start a build up thread until the previous game has finished. Massive tsk.
  10. Ridiculous. So season ticket holders can buy 2 extra tickets and the additional people wont be given customer numbers? So how do SFC know those tickets are going to Saints fans?
  11. He's decent as third or 4th choice centre back, not good enough for first choice for a top half team. So yes, on that basis
  12. Shame really, he's clearly a very talented player, in his first season here he showed flashes of brilliance, I remember the game against Villa when he was outstanding and thought he'd go on to be an amazing signing who we'd then sell for £30m or £40m. Unfortuantely it never really carried on and he was probably the wrong signing at the wrong time, he never stayed fit for long and not really had a long run in the team to establish himself. Unfortuantely he's another big money signing that hasn't worked out for us.
  13. For a long time one of the prerequesites of any potential signing was that they were a saints fan.
  14. I've long championed the signing of Cattermole, think he'd be the perfect replacement for Morgan when he goes, the "get stuck in" "break his f*cking legs" brigade will love him.
  15. Hang on a minute, Ings is young, hungry and therefore guarenteed to improve. What with him being a Saints fan he'd also provide us with that all important quality of PASSION and work rate. What more could we want?
  16. Just remember if some people on here had their way we'd have Ings, Vokes and Jutwitez up front, Wade Elliott, Surman and Brian Howard in Midfield and Darryl Flahavan in goal.
  17. They are flat track bullies.
  18. Pelle is probably a flat track bully
  19. It won't stop Batman, he's on a roll, you watch it or he'll say we're flat track bullies for the 15th time today.
  20. I like a manager in a smart suit, I'm not a fan of these tracksuit managers, poch tight jeans and loafers were the final nail in his coffin for me as a saints manager. A good manager also needs a decent coat this time of year, the Arsne Wenger bench coat style is not a good look, its needs a smart trench or pea coat in a colour like grey or navy.
  21. Fair play to Lawro on this on, actually thought we'd so better than we did.
  22. Surprised no one has commented on this, seems like Merson actually thought we'd do better than we did.

Any news on this? It seems to have gone very quiet, nothing from the club for a while.
  24. The bottom line is against teams like Man City if they play well they win on most occasions. Player for player they are much better than we are and so they should be given the hundreds of millions they've spent. Quite simply Man City were good and up for it from the off and we weren't at our best, when that happens there is only one outcome. A side from Pelles two chances we never really looked like scoring and were deservedly beaten, sometimes you just have to admit that on the day the opposition were better and although 3-0 was a little harsh we didn't deserve anything from the game
  25. Southamptons thrashing by Man City has shown that their top 4 creditials are nothing more than pipedreams. They've been shown up everytime they've faced one of the big boys, they were poor against Villla and worse against City, i can't see it getting any better at the emirates. Arsenal have flattered to decieve at times this season but they have to come good sometime and I think they will against the saints. Dorkish prediction Arsenal 4 soton 0
