He had calamity Hoolvield and Fox as his two first choices in their positions. He also had a newly promoted team and no top flight management experience, yet He was a dead man walking long before he was sacked.

Yep, as a few of the 'trolls' have long said, our first XI will give anyone a good game, but beneath that there really isn't much. You need 18-20 players good enough to be first XI to compete for a top 6 spot over a season. For us to even have a chance of a finish In the top 6 at the moment, which some said was good enough last season,you'd need all XI players to stay fit and inform for the entire season, never going to happen.
